Landos pov
I watch as my beautiful wife holds our now 12-month-old son, guiding his hands. He's been crawling but hasn't quite started walking yet, though he's getting close.
"Come on, Noah! You can do it!" Amelia cheers, clapping her hands enthusiastically. She sits in my lap as we sit across from Stella and Noah.
I run my hands through Amelia's long brown hair, smiling at my family. It's moments like these that remind me how truly blessed we are.
"Noah, go walk to Daddy, my love," Stella says softly as she lets go of his hand a little. He giggles, takes one step, then falls, and the room fills with laughter.
"No, Noah use your legs!" Amelia frowns, and I chuckle. "Honey, he's only young. We're teaching him," I say, kissing the top of her head.
Suddenly, there's a knock on the front door, and laughter fills the air as it swings open.
"Uncle and Auntie are here!" I hear Charles call out from the front door. Soon he enters the room, and Amelia jumps up from my lap, rushing to hug Charles and Alex tightly.
I smile up at them, noticing the gleam of Alex's engagement ring catching the light. Charles finally proposed to her after years of dating, and seeing their happiness adds another layer of joy to this already perfect day.
"Uncle Charlie!" Amelia exclaims happily as Charles spins her around in the air.
"Bonjour, mon cher, how are you?" Charles asks as he settles Amelia on his hip.
"Je vais bien. Nous apprenons à Noah à marcher," Amelia responds fluently in French, a skill she's picked up thanks to Stella's dedicated teaching.
Alex and Charles then walk over, gently placing Amelia back in my lap before turning to say hi to Noah. Charles ruffles his hand through Noah's small curls, eliciting a joyful giggle from him.
"Good afternoon, Stella, and hello, Noah," Alex smiles as she kisses Noah's head, then sits down on the couch next to Stella.
"Did you bring the food, Charlie?" Stella asks, leaning back and resting Noah against her chest.
"Yes, I did," Charles smirks, pulling out a container of sushi and some chicken wings.
"Okay, who allowed that in my house," I jest, squinting at Charles, who chuckles as he opens the sushi container. Immediately, a wave of distaste washes over me.
"Yuck! Fish! Daddy Charlie brought fish!" Amelia frowns, and I chuckle, seeing her resemblance to me in her aversion to seafood.
"It's for me, Alex, and Stella, Lando. I got you the chicken wings, and of course, Amelia can have some," Charles explains with a chuckle, while Stella wastes no time in indulging in the sushi.
After swallowing a bite of sushi, Stella looks at me with a mischievous grin.
"Don't even think about it, baby," I tease, but she quickly hands Noah to Alex and gets up. Sensing her intentions, I quickly kiss Amelia's head before attempting to leave the room, but Stella rushes after me.
"Give me a kiss, Lando!" she chuckles, but I shake my head. "I can't, angel, not after that," I frown, standing behind the dinner table with her on the other side.
"Give me a kiss or you don't love me!" Stella says louder, playfully chasing me around the table. "You can't use that against me!" I frown, but before I can protest further, she launches herself at me, wrapping her arms around me and kissing my lips.
After she pulls away, she smirks and lets go of me, while I rush to the tap to get rid of the fishy taste on my lips.
"Not cool, angel, not cool," I protest, but a smile tugs at the corners of my lips despite myself.
