"(Y/n)-chwan is sleeping so adorably," the blonde mused, slapping his hands together and doing some swinging movements with his hips while he gushed over your sleeping form. "Stupid marimo, don't get near her graceful presence," Sanji growled to the mint-haired male beside him at the doorway to your study.
They had gotten the job to wake you while Luffy was eating the last pies in the kitchen with Usopp and Nami who barely got anything to fill their stomachs. It was originally just Zoro's job, but Sanji had, of course, joined this task to make sure you were woken up as kindly and gently as possible. The brute swordsman of course wasn't capable of this, so it was Sanji's duty to make this come true. No pretty lady should be woken up abruptly and inconsiderately.
"You gonna wake her up or just creep on her unconsciousness, pervy cook?" Zoro asked the cook, his brows rising from accusation. The blonde butted his head with the swordsman, annoyed by his accussions of such vile things.
"You crappy swordsman!!" Sanji insulted, fueled, the mint-haired, who now had gotten as annoyed by the blonde as he was with him.
Their fight from starting completely was stopped by the small noise that came out of your mouth, signaling that you were about to wake up because of all the ruckus. They got off each other's throats and quietly turned to stare at you. You had fallen asleep sitting on your stool and resting your upper body on your desk, the big and old alchemy book under your arms giving you a softer cushion. You didn't wake up but continued sleeping now after just turning your head more to the side, the way more of your sleeping face was visible to their eyes.
Sanji decided first to go try to wake you up fully, walking up to you with light steps. "(Y/n)-chwan, it's already noon and we would love to have you join our company," Sanji sweetly started, he peeked at your unmoving face and then decided to gently shake you awake. Before he had rested his hand on your shoulder, he remembered the protection mechanism your body has, giving people you do not trust mild electro shots. "(Y/n)-chwan, please wake up, you incredibly beautiful witch," Sanji begged, throwing some praise in the side like it would help you wake up.
Zoro wasn't having that and he dissapprovally stared at the cook's work on waking you up. "Oi witch, wake up," Zoro called you with a louder voice, making your face frown while your eyes were still closed.
"Shh, that is not an appropriate way to wake up lady," Sanji barked to the swordsman who walked closer to you and was ready to poke your back with his sheathed katana. "What do you think you are doing?!"
"Waking her up?" Zoro puzzled, not understanding why the blonde was getting so irritated. In his opinion, the cook was being dramatic for no reason. Before the mint-haired male was able to poke you, Sanji had taken a tight grip around his katana and growlingly pushed it further from you. "What are you doing, stupid cook!?"
"Prohibit you from hurting her," the blonde answered and turned to check on you, his face displaying more softer expression towards you. Surprised the cook was to find you staring back at him, your face still tired and your hair a little messy. "Morning (Y/n)-chwannn! I hope you got the sleep as great as you deserve~" Sanji mused to you with heart eyes from seeing you in such a clueless and cute state.
"I slept fine," you croakily answered and turned to sit towards both of them on your stool. You looked past Sanji to Zoro whose voice had been the one to bring you to your consciousness. "I appreciate it if you called me by my name and not just a witch," you told Minty, not appreciating the malice it felt like he always spit when he called you a witch.
"That's right, you should start giving (Y/n)-chwan the respect she deserves," Sanji sided with you and nodded alongside you. The swordsman huffed to you two and crossed his arms defensively.
