A lots of Love and Care

"Ouch"I groaned as I felt pain in my back I tried to get up but wasn't able to due to some weight.

"Abir idiot get up you are hurting me"I shouted as Abir was sleeping keeping his legs on my back in a diagonal position while I was sleeping on my stomach.

"Mishti let me sleep"He replied while I shook my head.

"I am not Mishti and get up before I throw you down the bed"I raised my voice a little more this time and it worked as he sat up rubbing his eyes.

"What are you doing in my room and where is Mishti"He asked as I sat up too squeezing my back due to the pain.

"FYI Mishti is in Mumbai and we are here in Banglore for the series and I am not in your room you are in my room as you fell asleep while playing video games last night"I explained as he nodded but I could make out he was still processing all this.

"I am sleeping again as we have an off day don't disturb me now"He said and covered himself with a duvet and closed his eyes.

"Ok I am going to check on Sam"I informed as I closed the door behind me going to see if Sam is up or not as she had a movie night with Avni.

I knocked on her door a few times but there wasn't any response from inside they are probably sleeping and with that I made my way back to my room.

I took a bath and got ready for the day  and so did Abir thankfully.

"Why are you not knocking on the door and opening it with a key"I asked as we were standing in front of Avni's room door.

"Because she is a really heavy Sleeper and won't wake up with a knock specially when it's an off day "He replied and that explains the reason why she didn't open the door earlier.

He opened the door and we saw that Sam and Avni were still fast asleep cuddling each other.

"No Abir you are not throwing water on the two"I warned him clearly as he was about to pick up the jug on the bedside table.

"You are no fun"He started while I glared at him "Ok get this two up and tell them to get ready you remember it's a whole team outing today"He raised his hand in surrender as I nodded and he left the room.

I decided on waking up Sam first as soon as I touched her,her body felt hot to me,I kept my hand on her forehead to confirm and indeed she has fever.

"What happened"Avni asked sitting on the bed probably she got up with the movement.

"Sam has fever"I replied "Did she had anything cold like ice cream yesterday night"I asked as Sam gets cold when she has ice cream at night.

"No we didn't we just had paneer for dinner"She replied getting down from the bed and covering Sam properly with the duvet as I sat beside Sam.

"I will call the doctor"I said and fetched my phone to call our team doctor she nodded and went inside the bathroom.

A few minutes later she emerged from the bathroom changed and was holding a bowl with water in it.

"Can I place it on her forehead"She asked my permission and kept the bowl on the bed side table while I nodded and sat on the other side of Sam.

She dipped the cloth in the water and placed it on Sam's forehead while I was genuinely touched with the care Avni has for Sam.

The doctor came and prescribed some medicines citing it as normal fever.

"Dadda"Sam groaned as she finally woke up with a check up and all.

"I know baby you don't feel good but you will soon be fine ok"I kissed her hair and carssed them as I know Sam gets really cranky when she is sick.

"Avu are you ready"Abir asked entering the room "What happened to Sam"He asked standing beside Avni.

"She is having normal fever"I replied as he nodded.

"Wait I will inform the team that we are not coming for the outing"He fetched the phone from his pocket.

"No don't you both go anyway it's just a normal fever it will get better"I stopped him as I don't want their plan to be spoiled.

"I am not going anywhere leaving Sam"Avni stated holding Sam's hand in hers.

After a lot of convincing Abir left with the others while Avni and stayed with Sam.

"Comeon Sam have some medicines"I made her seat on the bed and fetching the medicine from the side table.

"Wait it's not advisable to have medicine on an empty stomach let me order soup for her"Avni instructed as I nodded.

The soup came as I thanked the room service and drank it.

"Dadda I don't want to drink it is eww"She whined wrapping her arms around Avni and buried her face in her stomach as I forwarded her a spoonful of soup.

"Sammy Baby if you will drink this soup now and then the medicines you will get fine in no time and then we can have as much as hot chocolate as you want"Avni cajoled crassing her hairs.

"Pinky Promise"Sam asked forwarding her pinky finger.

"Pinky Promise"Avni chuckled entwining her finger with Sam's. 

Avni then fed her some soup and then I made her have the medicine and she slept hugging me while I massaged her head.
