His Girls.

It's been a week since rakshabandhan and today is the day Neil is leaving to West Indies for tour and Avni and Sam aren't accompanying him due to work and school.

"Neil where are you lost"Avni asked snapping him out of his thoughts and handing him a stack of t-shirts.

"Nowhere"He replied taking it from her and arranging it properly in suitcase.

"Comeon Neil,I know you are lying you are sad since past one week"Avni asked standing in front of him cupping his face while he was sitting on the bed.

"I will miss you and sam a lot on this tour"He murmered hugging her burying his face in her stomach.

"We will miss you two too but don't worry I will make sure to video call everyday"She said ruffling his hair"Now comeon complete your packing,you need to leave in an hour"She asked breaking the hug and he nodded.

They were done with the packing in half an hour and made their way to the airport.

"Bye Neil and don't worry about Sam and also play well for us ok"Avni instructed hugging him while he wrapped his arm around her.

"Ok madam anything else"He asked in a teasing tone.

"Yes don't talk to strangers and don't accept anything from strangers"She teased him back with a mischevious smile on her face.

"I am Sam's dad not Sam that you are giving me this instructions"He chuckled.

"You do behave like a four year old sometimes"Avni added making him scowl and she chuckle.

"If you to our done with your romance Neil we have a flight to catch"Abir said and Avni quickly broke the hug blushing while Neil glared at him.

"I will miss you Dadda"Sam said almost in tears and Neil picked her up as she kept her head on his shoulder,it was also really difficult for him to leave Sam alone,it's his first time going without her  anywhere let alone tour.

"Dadda will miss you too baccha but don't worry tell Mumma to call me whenever you miss me ok"Neil assured and Sam nodded understanding.

"Neil now leave its last boarding call"Mishti reminded as Avni took Sam from his arms as Abir and Neil disappeard into the crowd.

Mishti is driving the car while Avni is sitting next to her and the two girls are in the backseat talking about their school.

"Masi you know Sam and I both got A+ on our drawing"Kia informed Avni and Avni smiled nodding at her,they have been fine since Avni spent the whole day with her alone watching movies,going out to eat and also ice-cream and to park too and she also made her understand that she is equally important to her as Sam.

"Come to watch the match with us ok,you will anyway get bored at home alone"Avni instructed getting down from the car and Mishti nodded as Avni closed the car door.

Avni and Sam entered inside the house to see it almost empty,the house which was bustling with people is now all empty,Naira and Keerti with their family left the next day of Raksha Bandhan,Prakash left to Delhi for a business meeting yestarday and Neil left today leaving just Swetha,Sam and her in the house.

"You two back"Swetha asked and lowered her voice seeing Sam sleeping in Avni's arm.

Avni made her sleep on the sofa in the living room and sit near her legs while Swetha handed her a glass of water and she gulped it down keeping it on the table.

"What was Sam's reaction"Swetha asked as it's the first time she is without Neil for such a long time.

"She was really sad but Neil made her understand that she can call him whenever she misses him"Avni replied leaning against the sofa.

"I will get ready for work it's already late"Swetha nodded at that and went on to get ready while Swetha made Sam sleep in her room.

Avni changed into a white shirt with beige pant and did her hair in a bun wearing just a watch not in a mood to get ready.

Avni's main goal was to complete work as early as possible and reach home thankfully there wasn't much work load as the past week was quite hectic.

Avni reached home to see Sam awake and was playing in the garden with Swetha as it was already evening.

"Mumma"Sam exclaimed as soon as she noticed her and ran to hug her.

"Baccha you play with Dadi I will change and come ok"Avni added and she nodded,Avni changed into a black kurti and white plazzos and made her way outside.

The three of them had fun playing in the garden for sometime and then watching movies and after that retired to their room.

Avni was sitting on her bed after making Sam sleep and was chatting with Mishti about their day.

She laid down on the bed keeping her phone on the side table but not able to sleep as she has become habituate sleeping Neil's arms,she tossed and turned.

"Mumma can I sleep with you today"Sam asked standing near the bed holding a teddy bear in her hand.

"Ofcourse baby come"Avni patted the space beside her and she quickly settled down and finally Avni slept hugging Sam.

Neil landed in West Indies and they reached their hotel and the first thing Neil did was to call Avni after settling down properly in the room to inform her that he has reached.

"Neil what happened"Abir asked coming from the balcony after talking with Mishti and Kia when he saw Neil sitting holding his phone,the two of them are sharing the room as neither Avni nor Mishti have accompanied them on the tour.

"Avni is not picking up my phone"He replied as he has called her but she isn't picking the phone.

"Mishti told me that she was chatting with Avni some time ago then why isn't she picking the call"Abir wondered sitting beside Neil.

"Wait I will call Mom and ask her"Neil added and dialled Swetha's number.

"Hello Mom"He greeted as she picked up the call.

"Hello Beta,reached properly"She asked greeting him.

"Yes mom I have reached properly can you check why Avni isn't picking the call"He added and Swetha told him to wait a minute before making her way to Neil and Avni's room.

The room door wasn't locked so she opened it and entered inside greeted with a sight which made her smile Avni and Sam were sleeping hugging each other.

She switched the call to video and turned the camera towards the two sleeping,Neil heaved a sigh of relief as he saw his two girls sleeping peacefully,he got scared when Avni didn't pick his call.

"I will tell Avni to call you tommorow"Swetha informed.

"Ok Mom Bye Take care"And with that he cut the call.

Swetha properly made them wear the comforter before making her way out of the room.
