Neil stopped the car in front of their office and saw that Avni was already standing outside,she came and sat on passenger seat and kept her bag in the back seat.
"Tired"He asked passing her the water bottle,she nodded and gulped it down.
He started driving while she rested her head on the seat closing her eyes.
"Neil this isn't the way to home"She asked seeing him take a complete different route.
"Oh we aren't going home"He replied focusing on driving.
"Then where are we going"She asked now looking out of the window.
"Be patient"He replied and continued driving for around fifteen minutes and stopped it.
"Now where are you going"She asked as he wore a mask and cap before getting down from the car so no one recognise him and mouthed her two minutes before making his way to the vada pav stall on the footpath.
He took one vada pav and made his way back to the car and sat inside.
"Here"He handed Avni the vada pav while she raised her brows at him.
"Remember you told yestarday that you wanted to eat Vada pav"He replied and she smiled and took a bite from it before forwading me while he shook his head.
"Comeon a little"She pleaded making a puppy face to which he couldn't say no to and had a bite.
He started driving and she continued eating her vada pav while he glanced at her in little intervals and shook his head with a smile seeing her so happy with just a vada pav.
"I will go see Sam"She informed as soon as they entered the house.
"No first go and change and rest for sometime you would be tired"He held her wrist and shook his head,to which Avni nodded and made her way to their room.
Neil went on to Sam's room to spend some Dadda-Daughter time.
"What are you doing Baccha"He asked sitting beside Sam who was busy coloring with utmost concentration.
"Dadda see I made this drawing"She pointed towards the drawing she has made,it was a drawing of five people mostly sticks and circle and each one had a name written below them.
"See this is You,this is me,this is Avu,this is Dadu and this Dadi"She explained each person.
"It's the best baccha"He replied kissing her cheek missing her smile.
"Accha now tell me how was your first day at school"He asked while Sam kept her drawing aside with so much care like it was some treasure making Neil chuckle.
"It was great Dadda,Kia helped me a lot and all the children were so nice"She replied sitting in Neil's lap leaning on his chest and Neil wrapped his arm around her.
Avni who has taken a hot shower and changed into a simple kurti with plazzos and made her way to Sam's room to witness the father-daughter bond and smile standing at the door and clicking some pics of two of them too.
