Love and Trust is missing

"Who the hell called the media"Neil groaned stomping his hand on the steering wheel.

"Ofcourse its Juhi"Abir replied knowing very well that it was none other than her,that lady wants nothing but publicity and fame.

"You stay calm and don't answer any question ok"Abir squeezed Neil's shoulder knowing how sensetive this topic is for Neil and Neil nodded at that. 

The four of them got down from the car Neil picked sammy in his arms.

"You three go inside I will bring uncle,aunty and keerti"Abir instructed as Neil nodded seeing the swarn of reporter around his parents and keerti. 

Abir went on to them while the reporters circled around them too,Neil took Avni's hand in his as he remembered how much her being in the news affected her,Avni sighed in relief as Neil held her hand she was feeling suffocated with so much people around her.  

"Sir why are you here"

"Sir is Avni Dhawan really your wife"

This were the few questions threw around them which the two royally ignored and made their way inside. 

The first thing Neil noticed was that Juhi was already sitting inside and gave him a smirk but her smirk instantly fell when she saw Avni entering behind Neil.

Avni along with the others sat on the bench while Juhi and Neil sat opposite to each other with Keerti and the opposition lawyer in between them. 

All of them stood up as the judge came and the proceedings began.

"Neil Khanna,Juhi Sharma this case is for the custody of your daughter and Juhi Sharma has done this to claim the custody of her daughter ,currently the daughter is with Neil Khanna "The judge started as both Neil and Juhi nodded.

"You two can keep your views regarding the custody"The judge motioned.

"Your honour my client Juhi Sharma and Neil Khanna got divorced around 4 years before mutually and now that she is independent financially she wants to get the custody of her daughter"The opposition lawyer kept his point while Neil smile sadly seriously their divorce was anything but a mutual descision she was the one who left him and their new born without even caring.

"Mrs Singhania do you have anything to say about it"The judge asked Keerti.

"Your honour my client Neil Khanna has been taking care of his daughter since past four years wouldn't it be unfair on him if the custody will go to Ms Sharma"Keerti kept her views although she wanted to correct the lawyer about the mutual divorce thing she knew court needs proof and they dont have any proof on that also this hearing was just for the clarification of case and she has some tricks up her sleeves for further dates.

"Yes your honout and she is a kid she wont be able to adjust to this new environment"Neil added.

"So what do you say Mr Khanna I shouldn't be with my daughter"She countered angrily while Neil glared at her.

"Mr Khanna and Ms Sharma maintain the decorum of the court also we have heard both of your views the custody case will begin from tommorow at 11:00,the court is adjourned"The judge announced and left as the rest of them stood up.

"You are going to loose this Mr Khanna"Juhi slyly added and left the room while Keerti held his hand to stop him from taking any wrong step.

"Shall we leave"Prakash asked breaking the silence in the room.

"Yes but first let me go and check wheter the media is there or not"Abir added as the others nodded.

Neil and Abir checked and to their relief their were no media as all of them came outside.

"Papa,Mom,Keerti you three go home,Avni,Sam and I will drop Abir and come back"Neil informed as the other three nodded and left.

"Neil I am also going to stay at Abir's for today will meet you directly at the court tommorow"Neil nodded from the driving sitting.

Abir and Avni got  down from the car as they bid bye to Neil and Sam.

"Where are Mishti and Kia"She asked as Abir unlocked the door for them to enter inside.

"Mishti is at the hospital and Kia is at school"He replied as Avni nodded and they entered inside.

"Why are you sounding so aloof"She asked as he sounded different.

"Nothing"He replied passing her a glass of water.

"I know you like the back of my hand Bira now tell me what is disturbing you"Avni asked keeping the glass of water aside. 

"This was the very reason I was against Neil and your's wedding"He sighed turning towards her.

"What are you talking about"She asked trying to act clueless.

"Dont try to act clueless just like you know me like the back of your hand I know you more than you know yourself and I know you came here instead of going with Neil is because you are scared and nervous of everything happening since morning and you aren't comfortable sharing it with anyone there"He asked as Avni looked at him with her eyes wide this was the exact thing going on in her mind.

"And this is the reason I didn't wanted you to get married with Neil you are a person who doesn't open up easily and you aren't at ease with anyone there and marriage doesn't work without trust and love "He continued as she didn't say anything.

"I don't know Bira I felt so scared and anxious about this whole court thing and I couldn't share it with them because I am not comfortable but trust me I am trying"She replied as tears started flowing from her eyes.

"I know and listen to me Mishti and I always here for you whenever you feel lonely or alone you can come to us ok"He asked taking her in a hug as she hugged him back.

But unkown to them Neil who has come to return Abir's phone has heard the entire conversation and him being shocked would be an understatement.

Here is the update hope you all liked it,and about the court scene sorry for the mistakes I wrote it after seeing naamkaran court scene and what do you think about Avni's dillema do let me know.
