A sweet Apology.

"Avu can you make me sit on this"Sam asked me pointing towards the counter as I nodded and made her sit on it keeping a distance between her and the stove.

I am making her favourite pasta as she want to have it,I added some sauces stirring it before adding some veggies while Sam is busy munching the carrot.

"Sammy,Avni"I heard Naira's shout from outside and realised Keerti Di and Her are here,I turned off the stove and made my way outside with Sam in my arms.

"Naira Bua"Sam wiggled from my arms and ran towards Naira while I went on to hug Keerti Di and Maa hugged Kartik.

"How are you"I asked hugging Naira.

"Fine"She replied hugging me back.

"Keerti,Naira you two freshen up we will meet for dinner"Maa instructed as both Keerti Di and Naira nodded before making their way to there room.

"Sam shall we continue with our pasta"I asked and she nodded as I picked her up in my and we made our way to the kitchen with Maa following behind us.

"What should we make for Dinner"She asked as I settled Sam on the counter.

"How about Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice"I suggested adding the boiled pasta in the pan before mixing it all properly.

"Great Idea"She replied starting with the preparation and I served the pasta in plates.

"Shall I feed you Sam"I asked handling her the plate.

"No I want to eat it with Naira Bua and Keerti Bua"She replied and I nodded taking the plate from along with an extra plate for Neil.

I dropped Sam in Naira and Keerti Di's room and made my way to our room,I entered inside and saw that he was sitting on the bed watching something on his laptop.

I kept the plate on the side table making some noise and Neil looked up while I turned on my heels but Neil held my wrist as I turned around.

"What happened"I asked crossing my hand across my chest.

"Wait a minute"He motioned making a puppy face making me chuckle,my anger almost melting and he took out something from the drawer.

"Avni I am really sorry about morning and to make it up to you I brought this for you"He handed me a packet and I took it from him opening.

"Neil thank you so much"I exclaimed jumping excitedly hugging him tightly and kissing his cheek,it was a limited edition book which I have been searching since so long.

"Your welcome madam"He chuckled breaking the hug "Now lets eat the pasta is getting cold"Neil added sitting on the bed picking up the plate.

"You eat,I will go help Maa in preparing the food"I replied keeping the book in the drawer.

"If you won't eat with me I am not going to it"He kept the plate back and sat in a criss cross position with a pout and his hands crossed across his chest,he looked like a complete child and I somehow stopped myself from laughing.

"Neil what kind of childishness is this?"I asked once more.

"Whatever you think"He replied dismissing it with his hand.

I smiled picking up the plate and sitting in front of me and took the pasta in the fork and kept it in front of his mouth and he had it while I smiled at his childishness.

I forwaded him another bite,he turned my hand and made me have it while I stared at his eyes.

"Now Mr Khanna can I go and help Maa"I asked after we were done with the pasta.

"Sure Mrs Khanna"He pulled me towards him,his hand on my waist while I stared at him shock.

He kissed my forehead and stepped back as my cheeks turned red.

"You look so cute while blushing"He complemented pinching my cheek making me blush more.

"Oh by the way has Naira and Keerti Di's family settled properly"I asked and he nodded,Naira and Keerti Di have came for the anniversary which is after three days and are staying in my apartment so the surprise is not spoiled to Maa and Papa.

I made my way to the kitchen and helped Maa in making the food soon joined by Keerti Di and Naira.

The dinner was a fun affair with Sam mostly chatting about her time at school as I couldn't help smile fondly at her I am so happy that she doesn't have that computer or i-pad screen isn't her school anymore and is enjoying her school life.

"Avni after you have changed come to our room along with Sam we will have girls night out I have called Mishti and Kia too"Naira instructed and I nodded picking up the dirty dishes from the table.

"Avni Beta wait a minute"Papa stopped me as Naira took the dishes from my hand and took it in the kitchen.

"Yes Papa"

"Here this was the same book that idiot ruined right and you were pretty sad about it"He handed me the book and it was the one on which Neil spilled the water.

"Thank you so much Papa"I side hugged him and he patted my head and I am pretty emotional,he didn't need to do it but he did it.

"What are you doing here Bira are you going to come to girls night too"I asked hugging him as Mishti chuckled

"Shut up I came because Neil invited me,Kartik,Him and I are also having boys night"He said breaking the hug and I went on to hug Mishti and my Kia while he went on to greet Maa and Papa.

"Neil and Kartik are in his room"Bira nodded and went to Neil's room while Kia,Mishti and I also made our way to Naira's room.

We entered the room and gaped at it in aww the room was beautifully decorated for the girls night,A projector set up,all kinds of snacks on the table and bed and couch decorated with pillows and fairy lights.

"Wow its so pretty"Mishti and I exclaimed together making the two chuckle.

"So shall we start with Tangled"Keerti Di asked and all of us nodded.

Naira,Sam,Kia and I settled on the bed while Keerti Di and Mishti took the couch.

"You know Avni and I usually have this movie night where we have this movie marathon"Mishti chimed in as I nodded popping the popcorn in my mouth.

"Now the four of us can have this fun night too whenever Naira and I are here"Keerti Di suggested and we all nodded focusing our attention back to movie.

After the end of third movie Kia and Sam were fast asleep we made them sleep properly in Sam's room.

"Now shall we start the real fun"Naira asked and we all couldn't help but nod.

Keerti Di stared the music as Mishti threw a pillow at me and I threw it back at her starting our pillow fight,we hit each other,danced and enjoyed a lot.

I laid on the bed almost breathless as Naira laid beside me breathless too as we smiled at each other.

We had fun until early morning before all of us fell asleep in unusual position.

"Shall we go and check what the ladies are upto"Abir asked keeping his controller aside probably tired from playing so long.

"No way that sherni will eat me raw"Kartik said fear evident in his voice.

"Yes that lady don will kill me too if we will interupt their time"I added scared of her anger,angry Avni is the worst.

"Oh yaa how can I forget that chorni will beat me to death too"Abir also added realising as we all chuckled.
