Avni got changed and came out to see that Neil still wasn't in the room,she sat leaning against the headboard and picked the book she has been reading to continue her reading,waiting for Neil to come.
"Avni guess what"Neil shouted entering the room with his hands behind his back.
"What new mischief did you do"She asked keeping the book aside and sit up straight.
"Why do you always think that I have done some mischief"He asked scowling and made a fake sad face.
"Accha sorry now tell me what were you making me guess"She asked chuckling at his antics.
"I have made hot chocolate for you,I thought you were hungry the whole day so you would love to drink your favourite hot chocolate"He said presenting the glass in front of her,tears gathered in her eyes at his thoughtful act.
"Aree why are crying,it's ok if you don't want to drink it I will give it to Abir anyway that idiot can eat anything at anytime"He quickly added seeing tears in her eyes completely misunderstanding the situation.
"Idiot they are tears of happiness,now give me my hot chocolate"She said chuckling at his rant admist the tears,Neil handed her the hot chocolate and sat in front of Avni.
"How is it? Did you like it?"He asked keeping his hand in his palm and sat staring at Avni.
"It's really tasty,from now whenever I will feel like hot chocolate you are going to make it for you"She said taking a sip.
"Anything for you madam"He said winking making her chuckle.
"Here you have it too"She said forwading it towards him and he took a sip.
"Ok now you sleep I will keep the empty glass in the kitchen"Neil said as Avni nodded and he went to keep the glass in the kitchen.
"You still not asleep,we have to wake up early tommorow"Neil asked seeing her still reading.
"I can't sleep without you so come fast"She patted the space next to her,Neil chuckled and nodded,laying down next to Avni.
Avni kept the book aside and laid down keeping her head on Neil's chest as he wrapped his arm around her waist and the two fell asleep.
The alarm rang and Avni was the first one to get up,she somehow untangled herself from Neil's grip and went on to get ready for the day.
She took a warm shower to get physically and mentally ready for today's day and changed into a white dress and kept her hair open with side partition,wearing a watch and A and N necklace,sprayed some perfume and completed the look with white flats.

"Neil get up"Avni snoozed the alarm which was ringing but Neil was still fast asleep,she shook him to wake him up.
"Avni let me sleep yestarday also we got up early and slept late too"He murmered pulling Avni towards him by her waist and Avni directly landed on his chest.
"Neil sleep as much as you want after we come back but now get up we need to go to court"She said and ran her fingers through his hair trying to wake him up.
"Great now that you are up go and get ready"Avni added as Neil opened his eyes and tried to get out of his grip but in return he just tighten his grip around her waist.
"Why are you in so hurry Mrs Khanna"He added huskily tracing his finger from her forehead till her chin.
"Neil we will get late and we also need to prepare Sam,she needs to give statement too"Avni said in a serious note and Neil finally loosened his grip on her as she finally stood up and Neil sat up on the bed too.
"You go and freshen up and don't worry everything would go well,today would be probably the last hearing"Avni assured cupping his face and placed her lips on his forehead as she could see a frown on his face as soon as she said about the hearing.
Neil went to freshen up while Avni made her way to Sam's room to see her still asleep hugging Kia.
"Sammy baby wake up"Avni lightly shook her kneeling beside her bed.
"Mumma let me sleep"Sam groaned snuggling more into Kia as Avni shook her with a smile,this was the same thing Neil said before ten minutes.
"Kia baccha get up you have to go to school"Mishti came in the room with two glasses of milk and kept them on the table and shook kia who in return covered herself more with the comforter.
"The two aren't waking up only"Avni chuckled and the two finally got up after ten minutes and the two of them got Sam and Kia ready and made them drink the milk.
"Kia baccha let's go Papa will drop you to school"Mishti said as Neil entered the room all ready and she know Neil and Avni want to talk to Sam about today's hearing.
"Mumma Sam isn't coming to school today"Kia asked and Mishti shook her head and the two made their way outside the room.
"Sam baccha listen to us carefully ok"Neil said making her sit at the edge of the bed,Avni and Neil kneeled in front of her as Sam nodded.
"Baccha today we are going to the court right like we went last time"Avni asked cupping her face and Sam nodded once more.
"And today the judge uncle will ask you some questions,so don't get nervous and answer all the questions truthfully ok"Neil assurred her.
"And don't worry Mumma and Dadda would be there with you ok so say strong"Avni added keeping her hand on Sam's hand which were in her lap.
"Yes you are our strong baby right"Neil kept his hand on Avni's.
"Yes Dadda I am your strong girl and I will answer all the questions that the judge uncle will ask"She said as Avni kissed her forehead standing up.
"Now let's go or else we will get late"Neil instructed as the two nodded and Neil picked Sam up in her arms and the three of them made their way to the living room.
They had their breakfast and the three along with Keerti left for the court.
