I walk home with Kei and Tadashi when all of a sudden Kei grabs a volleyball. I watch the scene unfold in front of me. I soon realise though that the dark haired guy was none other than Tobio Kagayama AKA King of the court though not for the best reason
I saw a bench and sat down as they all talked. When was Kei so brutally rude?! And why was Tadashi just laughing?! Hormones or just change in behaviour?! I wish I could play volleyball
I look up to the dark star lit sky and smile only to feel four pairs of eyes on me. I focus on the boys standing in front of me and blush from embarrassment
"Yes?" I asked
"Lets go or do you prefer to be left behind?" I stand up and grab my bag. I bow to the two boys and quickly jog to Tadashi who was waiting while Kei left us
"So what's happening?" I asked the two
"Those guys are the ones we'll be playing tomorrow. If they win they stay on the team, they loose they can't join" Tadashi quickly explained and I nodded
"Can-"
"Yeah, I'll ask our captain" Tadashi said with a smile and I smile back at him
"Great!" They walked me to my house and I wave them off
"Y/n?" I walk inside to my mothers voice
"Hello mum" I kiss her cheek before taking my shoes off
"How was school?"
"Good, I made a friend!"
"A girl right? Not another guys? Please not another guy" I laugh and grab my bag and walk into the kitchen with her
"No, I made a girl friend!" I said smiling
"Really? You should invite her over" I just smile as I unpack my lunch box before washing it leaving my bag on the counter
"Have you confessed to Tadashi?"
"Huh? What do you mean confess?" I asked putting the dishes on the dish rack
"Don't you like him?"
"Not any more and mum, I was 10" I said cringing at myself
"So?" I shake my head and grabbed a tea towel before starting to dry the dishes
"Do you want anything for dinner?" I shake my head
"Just make something, I'll eat it and I'll make my lunch tomorrow morning" I said putting my lunchbox inside the cupboard
"That's fine" Mum said as she switches places with me
"I'm going to have a shower" I said looking at her and she nods so I take my bag and go into my room.
I grab my towel and walk into the bathroom. I close the door and lock it before just turn on the tub. I take my cloths off and hop in the tub after it had filled up
I dunk my head in and held my breath. As I say silent I think about tomorrow. I'll be able to watch people play volleyball. How lucky they are. I bet they'll grow strong
"Y/n?!" I sit up quickly allowing the water in the bath to rush off my body as I sit there
"Yes?"
"Your father is home"
"Dad?! Why's he here?" I asked quickly washing myself before hopping out of the bath
I wrap myself in my towel and walk out of the bathroom. I smile upon seeing my dad. I use one arm to hold my towel while I use my other to hug him
