Evyn's POV

"I went through the files, but for the past week, my German company hasn't been selling any products. Why?" I asked Atlas, as he's responsible for my German Elysium.

He, with no connection to the topic, asked, "Sarah's Eltern waren einverstanden? Wann kommt sie? Übrigens, wie geht es ihr? (Sarah's parents agreed? When is she coming? By the way, how is she?) "

Now he's getting on my nerves. "Ace, Stop being a love-sick brat. My German company is going through losses; I guess I need to come there."

"Is she also coming?"

"Atlas, if you continue like this, I'll change the location. She'll intern in France got it? She even loves that place, to more than Germany."

"Bruder, das kannst du nicht tun. Gut, hier ist der Deal. Ich mache Ihr Unternehmen in 2-3 Wochen profitabel. Dann schickst du sie hierher? (Bro, you can't do that. Fine, here's the deal. I'll make your company profitable in 2-3 weeks. Then will you send her here?)

Finally, the words I want to hear. Now that my company is stable, I need to focus on Sarah. I never make non- profitable deals, "If you show the results as you promised, I'll send Sar there,"
I continued. "But that doesn't mean you can flirt with her or irritate her. Don't make her angry and make me regret my choice, like before. She hates coming there."

He started it again, "But—"

I interrupted, "I'm only agreeing to this deal because you're trying to win over my sister, which is nearly impossible. So, do your job first, and then we'll see if you can keep your word." With that, I ended the call. I wasn't in the mood to argue with him.

Nice day. I blackmailed and struck a deal with my best friend, no, scratch that, with a major shareholder.

"Come in." I acknowledged the knock at the door.

Ms. Klen entered, and I turned my attention away from the computer to address her. "What is it, Ms. Klen?"

"Sir, it's the list of interns who were finalized," she informed me, handing over the file.
Reviewing the file, I noted that all my interns were talented and intelligent.

"Yeah, now you can go. I will check and review it," I affirmed, gesturing for Ms. Klen to leave.

From her explanation, the list was categorized based on talent, internship money, and the number of facilities. The first two are very useful and talented, so they get the highest stipend and even have the opportunity to join our company. Then the next four, followed by the next eight, and so on.

I prefer to check from the last, but still, the first 6 people should be taken care of the most: Liam Brown, Noah Lopez, Emma Williams, Leah Smith, Jacob Miller, and Hazel Gray.

Jacob Miller and Hazel Gray are the top two interns and also the most beneficial to the company. I dislike the way they categorized them; I wish all interns were treated equally. Let's see how brilliant these individuals are since they were given the highest stipend.

Jacob Miller hails from Cornell University, where he is a top student. He's a native of NYC and has participated in numerous national-level games, showcasing his talent and brilliance. His parents, mother is ex-reporter and father is bussiness man.

As for Hazel Gray, she's from New York University, She's not the top student, didn't even have any additional participation records. Her native is England. Wait, what? England?. Belgravia, London, England? That's strange.

She doesn't even have relatives here, so why did she come all the way from London just to..Study? As for her parents, both were deceased. What? Both her parents expired?

Maybe that's the reason. She might have wanted to leave the place after her parents passed away, so she came here to continue her education and make a living.

Yes, it's possible. Being in the top 5 of her major while managing part-time jobs indicates her determination and hard work despite facing personal challenges like financial burdens due to her parents' passing.

I called Ms. Klen and inquired about Hazel Gray. "Who is this Hazel Gray? She didn't even provide us with a photo."

Ms. Klen responded, "Sir, photos are not compulsory for submission, so she didn't include one."I pressed further, "How did she know that we didn't mention the photo requirement in the details list?"

Ms. Klen smiled and replied, "Yes, sir. She likely read the additional details, eligibility, and requirements for the internship on our website."

She surprised me yet again. She's making me want to meet her at least once. Even the interviewers mentioned that she did a wonderful job. It's rare for someone to read the additional information. She truly impressed me.

As someone knocked on the door again, I called out, "Yes? Come in."

It's Ms. Andrea Roger, the head of the modeling department and our family relative. "Yes, Ms. Roger, why are you here all of a sudden? By the way, I also wanted to discuss the new project with you," I said.

Ms. Klen excused herself in a low voice, "Sir, I will go and do the arrangements," and left the room.

"Mr. Viotto, this year even the modeling club will be taking interns, so I wanted to ask if there is any problem. I conducted the interviews, and for my hard work, I would like to take a few," Ms. Roger explained as she handed me a file containing the list of interns' names and their information.

Once again, Hazel Gray's name appeared. She wants Hazel Gray? Why?

I asked suspiciously, "Ms. Roger, why are you asking for only these people? There are others too."

I know Ms. Roger is very clever; when she asks for something, there's always a deeper reason.

She smiled and said, "Mr. Viotto, they are the ones selected for modeling. They are talented in that field."

"No way I want her," I thought to myself.

I mean—I want to know how she is really doing based on her family condition. Modeling and statistical departments will be hard for her, but why do I even care about her?
