"Zain, for the last if I see those teeth," Roman said, annoyed. He looked so pissed off.
"Oh, come on, stop denying. I can see those emotions dancing ardently in your eyes," Zain said, impishly.
"She is not my type Zain. I abhor her," Roman said with acrimony.
"How arrogant you could be Roman?" Zain said, detestable.
"This whole thing, this marriage thing was not of my choice, she was forced on me," Roman said, "She is way too common for me." he added.
Zain looked at him disillusioned.
"She is your wife," he said, irritated; "you married her."
Roman made no answer.
"Roman, she is a very nice girl," Zain continued.
"Listen Zain, I am already trying hard to accept this stupid relationship. I don't love her. I can't be in love with her. So please, don't make my life even more miserable or else I will lose my temper," Roman said, annoyed and he walked off.

*****************

It has been three weeks; Eliza and Imran did not contact her. She was checking the list for this week and realized that she had to buy a lot of things for the upcoming project and she had to pay the tuition fee as well.
She fetched the debit card from her bag and decided to pay the fee online. She unfastens the website and puts the card's digits on the required filling box.
She waited for a while and then a message appeared on the screen.
"Your card is now blocked the expiration deadline has been passed."
She gasped because she had forgotten to tell this to Eliza.
She opened her wallet and counted the money. She had only 40 dollars and she knew they would consume on stationary.

"Now what I will do?" she muttered; "Shall I ask Devil?"
"No, absolutely not," she said, repeatedly.

***********

A few more days passed; she was now penniless. The date of the last submission of the fee was drawing near.

She was sitting on the college's grounds. She had no idea what she would do now. She had no money even for her personal use. At the same time, her stomach rumbled; lunchtime struck. She touched her stomach. Just then Roman passed with his squad. Ehsan, Zain, and Zaryaab all were with him. It seemed they were going to the dean's office.

She took a deep breath.

"Saliha," just then she heard Hunza's voice. She turned around. Hunza, Hania and most surprisingly Sana were walking toward her.

"There you are, I was looking for you. What are you doing here?" Hania asked, smiling.

"Nothing, just thinking about the upcoming project," she said, sadly.

"Oh yeah, I remember, have you submitted the fee?" asked Hania.

"I will do that," she replied.

"Saliha, I have submitted mine," Sana said.

She looked up at her.

She looked at her friend in a manner as if she was asing 'what she is doing here'.

"Well, Sana, you have written it nice, I will guide you on other as well," Hania said.

Hunza walked towards Saliha and sat beside her.
Hania and Sana were busy talking.
"I am surprised as well, she appeared this morning and asked for Hania's help with biology," Hunza whispers. "She did not leave. Since morning she is here with us."
Saliha took a deep breath.
"Come on, let's eat something," Hunza said.
Saliha was so hungry that she was missing the Cafeteria's creamy snacks.
"Hold on, I am going to bring something," Hunza said.
"Hunza wait," she cried.
Hunza stops. Sana was talking to Hania but all of her concious was on Hunza and Saliha.
"I am not hungry," Saliha said.
"No way, I know how much you love those creamy snacks," said Hunza. "Now give me five minutes I am bringing those for you," said Hunza and she left for the cafeteria.
A smirk appeared on Sana's lips as if she knew a lot.
"Oh Hania, you are wonderful. I am thinking I should hang around with you guys. You helped me so much on this assignment," said Sana, sugarcoated.
Hania smiled.
After a while, Hunza returns.
"Here, your favorite creamed croissant," said Hunza; giving a small paper box to her.
"Thank you Hunza," she said.
"Well, here's your favorite tea," Hunza said.
She smiled.
Sana was watching Saliha. Saliha had no idea what was being cooked inside Sana's head.

**************

"From where I will get money for the project," she thought. She was standing on the balcony while staring at the moon.

"I need to arrange that money at any cost," she thought. "If I will ask Roman, he will be pissed off on me for sure."

She took a deep breath while looking at the other side of the terrace. The lights were off which meant he was not there.

***********
Sana was sitting on the couch and Saliha was on the chair, lost in deep thought. She looked so tense.

Sana looks up at her.

"What is it Saliha?" she asked. Saliha was not good at hiding her expressions.

"No..nothing, she replied, smiling.

"Well, if you can't lie at least you should not try," Sana said.

Saliha was not made an answer.

"Tell me, I can help you. You can trust. After all, we are cousins," Sana said, softly.

Saliha felt warmth. Since childhood, she always tried to find a good friend in her cousin, Sana and today she sees on in her.

"The last date for fee submission is almost near and my card is blocked," Saliha said, sadly.

"Oh, why have not you told me before?" Sana said, concerned. She seemed so tensed. "I will pay from my card."

"But," Saliha tries to say something but Sana abrupt her.

"No buts, I will pay for you," Sana said.

"Oh Sana, thank you so much, I will return your money when Uncle Imran will be home," Saliha said.

"Oh please, no formalities. Saliha, you know our relationship was not that good, but still, we are cousins," Sana said smiling. Saliha smiled in return.
