"Emaad, my brother," she said with tears in her eyes.
"What?" Emaad asked, shocked. He felt someone take his heart in his hands when he saw her crying.
"They...They will kill him," she said, panicked.
"Shh...both of you get out," said the librarian. He looked at the librarian and shut his eyes in desperation as if he was trying to compose himself and control his anger.
He got up and walked towards her and held her arms softly.
She felt electricity through his touch and pulled herself a bit away.
He snatched his hand away."I am sorry, come with me," he said softly. She got up and they walked out of the library.
He was walking by her side and in a trance, she was following him.
He did not speak a word and opened the car door for her. She got in.
He got in the car and started driving.
"They, they will kill him," she muttered with tears in her eyes.
He looked at her instantly and took a turn to the other road and then he stopped the car.
"What happened?" he asked.
She looked at him. There was an awkward silence in them. "Hunza, tell me," he ordered, coldly.
She started crying. She was the strong girl in the whole group but today she looked so broken.
He bit his lower lip and then he held her arms softly. She resisted but he did not let her go.
"Hunza, tell me, you can trust me," he said, softly. She gulped.
"My father is an infamous business tycoon and some gangsters are now on the run to kill us," she said, crying. He stared at her and for the first time, his cold expression changed. He wanted to hug her and comfort her.
"Where is your brother?" he asked, darkly."I don't know, I am dialling his number but I don't know, I was trying hard to contact him but his line is unreachable," she said.
He bit his lips to calm himself. He took a deep breath.
"Okay, tell me from the beginning," he said.
"I was sleeping last night when my phone beeped, here is the message," she said, showing him her phone.
He grabbed the phone and their fingers were messed together. She looked into his cold eyes.
"Your father will pay, don't say we did not warn you, I heard he has a beautiful daughter. Fun, just close your windows," he read under his breath.
"It's an unknown number," he said.
"Kashan was worried about me, he said I should be careful," she said. He stared at her for a while but had intense emotions."Yeah, of course, Kashan said," he muttered. He grabbed his phone and dialled a number. He still did not realize who Kashan is to her. He was still thinking he was her boyfriend.
"I am sending you the details and tell me about the location," he said in a deep voice.
She bit her lower lip.
He started the car and there was an awkward silence in them. She knew this road, it goes to Roman's house.
She looked at him instantly but he was driving without any expressions.
"Where are we going?" she asked but he remained quiet.
After a while, he stopped the car in front of Roman's house.
"Now relax, stay at Roman's place, I will be back with your brother," he said while opening the car's door for him.
"No, I am coming," she said, stubbornly.
"Hunza, this is not the time to show such childish behaviour," he said, irritated. He knew how stubborn she was.
"No, I am coming," she said strongly. He took a deep breath. "No," he said.
"Emaad..." she was about to complete her sentence when he shushes her.
"Go in...." he ordered.
She was a strong head girl but something made her stop arguing at that moment.
His phone beeped. He grabbed it and a smirk appeared on his face.
"Fun time," he muttered and started the car."What?" she asked.
"Out, now." he opened the car's door and throws her out.
She screamed out from behind but he already drove away.************
She was standing out of the room and looking at the babies with tears in her eyes. She wanted to touch them and hold them but she was forbidden to touch them by Wadiya.
"My sweet brothers, how beautiful they are," she thought.
"What the hell are you doing here? I have told you to stay away," said Wadiya, angrily.
She gave her a sad sigh and walked away. She was too young when her mother died and after a year her father remarried and she felt even more alone, the only person who was there for her is her brother Emaad.
The dark past has never left Hala Alizai.
She walked towards her room and sat in it.
*********
She was dialling Hunza's number but there was no response, Roman was continuously playing the game. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes. He was playing games like a 9-year-old.
"Child, I married a child," she thought and got up. She looked so tense.
"I hope she and Kashan are alright," she whispered.
"Even if Kashan is alright, I will make him not so right," she heard his deep voice.
She turned.
"He is my friend and you will not put your finger on him," she said. He looked at her instantly and there was something in his eyes that made her freeze.
He got up and walked towards her. Even fever did not beat his charms.
He looked very handsome in the black T-shirt and the black jeans.
She took a few steps back until the couch hit her back knees and she fell on the couch.
He bends on her and brought his face so near to her that she felt her heart drop to the stomach.
"I am your damn freaking husband and I can lie my finger on you," he said while looking at her body from up to down.
She felt her cheeks burning. She understood what he meant.
He touched her lower lips when the entrance door opened and Hunza walks in.
She looked at Roman who was leaning on Saliha whereas Saliha was fallen on the sofa and looked as if she had seen a ghost.
"Sorry, I did not see anything," Hunza said while putting her hand on her eyes.
