Matt's P.O.V

"STEVE WHERE DID YOU PUT MY SUIT?!" I yell, running down the stairs and into the living room where Steve was.

It is officially the day of Grom, and I can't find my fucking suit.

"Oh uh... I think it's in mom and dad's closet." Steve says as he takes a sip of coffee.

"Why would you put it there.." I mumble under my breath as I run up the stairs to my parents room. I check the closet, and hanging there on a otherwise empty rack.

I grab the suit and run back diwn down hall to my bedroom. I check my phone, fuck, Hunters going to be here soon.

I hastily put on my outfit, a dark brown suit jacket and pants, white shirt and blue tie. I fix up my hair as I hear Steve yell from downstairs.

"MATT YOUR RIDE IS HERE!" He yells. I take a deep breath while I look in the mirror.

I looked significantly better than I did 2 weeks ago at Glandus. My eyebags had lightened, all of the bruises and cuts were relatively healed, and I had put on a solid 5 pounds or so. I gave myself a reassuring smile before making my way downstairs.

"Have fun Matty! Make good choices!" Steve yells from the kitchen as I walk to the door where Hunter was standing. I'd be lying if I said that he didn't look nice.

"Ready to go Matt?" He asked, gesturing to his car in the driveway. You could see Edric sitting in the front seat.

"Yeah, let's go." I reply, walking through the door and closing it.

"Hey shortie, you excited?" Edric asks, turning to face me a I get into the backseat of Hunters SUV. I nod, giving him a faint smile before looking out the window. The sky had a beautiful sunset with almost surreal clouds. Everything looked so... perfect.

Before I even realized we were moving, we arrived at Gus's house. Hunter gives me a nod as I get out of the car and walk up to the door.

*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*
*KNOCK*

"Hey Gu-" I start, getting caught off guard by Gus throwing himself onto me.

"MATTY!!" He exclaims, wrapping his arms around me. Dude, I literally saw you 3 hours ago. But I do have to admit, it is kinda adorable..

"Gus! What did I say about stairs?" I say jokingly as he releases me from his grasp. I finally am able to get a good look at him, and he looked fucking amazing.

He was wearing a dark blue suit, a white shirt and a brown tie.

"You look great.." I say in awe, grabbing his hand.

"Aw, thank you Matty! You do too!" He replies before he starts dragging me into the car. "But we don't have time for this, we are going to be late!"

I laugh as he pulls me into the backseat of Hunters car. "Someone's excited~" I tease.

"Hell yeah I am!" Gus replies as he does up his seatbelt.

"Awww, you guys are so cute together!" Edric says, smiling back at us.

I roll my eyes at him before turning to face Gus. He looked better than perfect.. How did I get so lucky?

We arrive at the venue. I open the door and get out, pulling Gus with me. He grabs my hand, gives me a smile and a nod before we make our way inside. We spot the rest of our group across the room and Gus pulls me over to them.

"Hey Guys!" Willow says, smiling at us.

"Hi Willow! You look ni-" Gus says before getting cut off.

"Omg are you guys matching?!" Luz exclaims, pointing at us.
