Once the ship arrived the British came off. "Come on Mercy, we are building our home up north." Her mother informed her and a painful expression was on her face since she knew Elliot and Francis were heading South. "Hey will see each other eventually!" Francis said putting his hand on her shoulder. "The three of us can meet again—years later..." Elliot said.

Down in the South some British families began to make their lives here. The Spanish was further in South and other places in America and they wanted to convert the Natives quickly to obtain goal and the French and Dutch actually needed the Natives and created alliances and traded with them. However the British were far different and worked to assimilate them.

Elliot and his family were wealthy prior to moving to the America and their family had bought a major plot of land in one of the colonies, Virginia. His sister loved to run on the open fields they owned though would occasionally in trouble because the land was only for agriculture especially tobacco. His father had informed the two that there has been an uproot in violence between the natives and the colonists. So whenever Elliot's sister wanted to leave the house he would have to accompany her.

In 1676 Elliot was over my Francis house because luckily their homes weren't to far from one other.
"Well I think it's time I head home." Elliot said brushing his hand through his blonde hair. "It's late. My father ought to want me home at a timely hour." Suddenly Francis mother who was in the kitchen entered the room and informed him he wasn't able to leave now. "What—what's the matter?" Elliot asked as he stopped putting on his coat. "Nathanial Bacon just started a rebellion against Governor William Berkeley after he refused to drive the rest of the Native Americans from Virginia." Elliot sighed and said, "I suppose I'll wait a bit then in a few days I'll venture home."

He thought it was be quick but only in 1677 did the rebellion end in fact it was a fail. Though Elliot did not stay at his house for a year since his father brought him back home.

After the rebellion life went on just as usually and people were making their lives. The blonde had just finished getting dressed in a white ruffled shirt and some black pants and he walked out onto the acres of land that his family owned. "Can I come too?!" he heard a young voice behind him he looked back to see his younger sister and said, "No Anne, go with mom. She properly has something for you to do."
"I don't want to! It's so boring!" Elliot shrugged and didn't change his expression and responded to her while putting on his shoes. "Well that's too bad. I don't know what to tell you."  he said before opening the door to go find his father and Anne was clearly a bit upset.

Elliot walked outside with his hands in his pockets and saw more random African people but also some white on the fields and he was rather confused. He walked over to his father who was smoking a cigarette and asked him, "Who are these people?" "Hm?" he asked looking down at him before refining his attention back to the fields. "Indentured servants. They work for me for a set amount of time then I pay them. Simple as that." Elliot looked to the fields and didn't say anything nor did he react much. He realized he was quite blessed his family was rich enough to come here.
