Chapter 4

Y/N's POV:

I head to my cabin after a long day. I plop down on my bed when I hear a voice that scared the hell out me. "I heard about your panic attack." I fall out of my bed. "Nys?" I say looking around. Standing in front of me is of course Nyssa. Who is her human form. She has black hair, brown eyes, chocolate skin (it's really pretty) and is wearing a white top, velvet skirt and a black cardigan. "Could you give me a warning or Iris message next time Nys?" I sigh. "Fine but you really should really tell someone about them-" she starts. "But Nyssa-" I start. "No buts. Butts are for sitting on." She laughs. I groan. It's a joke we make because I used to like Lego Ninjago growing up. "you know that's not what I meant." I say. "Stop trying to change the subject. You are going to tell someone." she retorts and with that she disappears. I sigh. "Great." I mutter and stand up rubbing my head. Sometimes I wish I wasn't a half-blood. 'There's no way in Tartarus I am telling Percy or Mark.' I thought. My body starts moving subconsciously. 'Leo... I want to tell him. He's the one person who saw me have a panic attack.' I think. I knock on the door of Bunker 9. "Leo?" I call. I hear footsteps and he comes out looking surprised. "Y/N?" he says confused. "I want to talk... about the panic attack. If it's okay with you?" I say shakily. He smiles and nods. "You know... how 'bout we talk while riding on Festus?" he suggests. "Sure." I nod. A few minutes later we were on Festus flying over CHB. "So... why'd you have that panic attack?" he asks. I look down at the camp and start talking. "I've... I've... been having these... nightmares about... about stuff?.." I began. Leo nods. "My mom... when I was six... we got into a car accident. She died that day. After that my aunt.... she had custody over me... she abused me. After that when I was ten I... I ran away and tried to drown myself..." I say starting to choke up. "I've been having nightmares... they seem... so... so vivid..." I say a tear running down my cheek. Leo wipes it away and kisses my forehead. "Hey thanks for trusting me enough to tell me." he says. His pulls me into a hug and I let it happen burying my face in his shoulder. We fly around a bit and the Festus lands. "See ya." I say. "Yeah... see you." he says. I walk to my cabin and flop on bed. "Welcome back." joked Percy. "Shut up. I want to sleep." I groan. "Finally." he sighs. I throw a pillow at him and turn around. "Well night." he says.

Time skip: The next Afternoon

I wake up and yawn. "What time is it? I wonder rubbing my eye. I check. "It's twelve! Oh my gods! Why didn't Percy wake me?!" I say. "Because you needed sleep." says Percy who was sitting on the couch. "Well... thanks you... I guess?" I say. I get dressed into my camp outfit. 'Weird thing is I didn't have any nightmares. Well... that's a good thing at least.' I thought. I head out and go and find Mark. " Mornin' sleeping beauty." he teases. "Har har Mark." I say sarcastically. "What are you doing anyway?" I ask. "Well Chiron says I have to help the younger kids with archery." Mark says. "Okay we'll see you." I say. "N/n! Come here." I hear Piper's voice from behind me. I turn around to see her smirking. 'Uh oh Piper's smirking. That's not good.' I think sighing. "Yes?" I raise an eyebrow. "I saw you on Festus with Leo." She teases.. My face heats up. "Oh that... was nothing." I say. "Really?" she raises an eyebrow. "He's just a friend.         F-R-I-E-ND" I spell out. "Okay, okay." she smirks. "Come on Piper leave her alone." says Annie. "Fiiine. Anyway we're going to a café later. Wanna come?" Pipes asks. "Sure." I say. "Oh yeah Hazel, Reyna and the boys are coming. Nico can't he said he's doing something." Annabeth added. "Okay. When are we going?" I ask. "In an hour or so." Piper said. I sigh and go to get dressed. I change into a white top, jeans shorts, a brown cardigan with white flowers on it and black sneakers. "Ready." I say to Annie and Pipes who were waiting. Me, Annie and Pipes walk over to the others. "Finally." Leo said. "Shut it Valdez." says Pipes nudging him. We walk over to the car. "Wait whose car is it?" I ask. "Percy's but I don't trust him to drive." jokes Annie. Me, Hazel and Reyna laugh. Percy scowls. "Shut up." he mutters. I laugh and pat him on the shoulder and get in. Reyna gets the drivers seat, Annie gets shotgun, Frank and Hazel are sitting behind Reyna, Percy's behind Annie, Leo, Jason and Pipes sit together behind them, I sit behind Leo.  After two hours of (insufferable) karaoke we finally get there.
