Leah's POV.

It was quite the game, to say the least. While Kai secured a win against West Ham, our match didn't quite go as planned. It felt like a missed opportunity, possibly even costing us the league title again.

Kai promised to make it up to me after hearing we conceded two goals. And true to his word, he scored two goals in the Premier League. It's almost like he's a superhero or something.

After the match, Kai came over to chat with us. Lia, Beth, Viv, and I went together to the game. I didn't mention that I got the tickets from Kai Beckham himself, which left them utterly shocked.

"Leah, seriously, you never told us! You actually know the Beckhams!" Beth practically shouted as we waited for Kai outside the stadium.

"What?" I said, feigning innocence.

"Don't act like it's no big deal, Leah! You're hanging out with a Beckham!" Beth exclaimed.

I glanced at Lia and Viv, who seemed equally astonished. "As much as I'd like to be cool about this, Leah, I have to side with Beth on this one," Lia chimed in.

I chuckled. "Okay, but let's not turn into fangirls, alright?"

"How can we not? I'm practically in love with the entire Beckham family!" Beth exclaimed. "And you're giving us a chance to tag along on your date!"

I laughed at their enthusiasm. "Alright, alright, let's just keep it chill, okay?"

"Fine, we'll try," Lia said with a smirk.

Just then, Kai emerged from the stadium, and I waved to get his attention. As he approached, Lia, Beth, and Viv couldn't contain their excitement, exchanging glances and giggles.

"Hey, ladies," Kai greeted us with a smile. "Ready to grab some food?"

I nodded, leading the way to a nearby spot I knew in this part of London. It was already dark, which was perfect; Kai Beckham strolling around could cause quite a stir if anyone recognised him.

As we entered the restaurant, I was relieved to find it wasn't too crowded, considering it was post-game. We found a corner table, and Kai graciously took our coats, earning a few appreciative glances.

Once settled, Kai sat next to me, sandwiched between Beth and me, with Viv and Lia opposite us. We placed our orders, and as we waited for our food, conversation flowed.

"So, spill it, how does a top-tier team like Arsenal manage to lose to the bottom of the league?" Kai teased.

Lia shrugged. "No comment," she said, and we all chuckled.

We chatted away, and I noticed Beth's excitement bubbling over. She turned to Kai with her signature grin.

"Okay, I have to ask – what's it like being David Beckham's son?" she blurted out, unable to contain her curiosity.

Viv gave Beth's hand a playful slap. "Come on, Beth, don't ask silly questions!"

Kai waved off Viv's concern. "No worries, I get asked that a lot," he reassured them with a smile.
