Leah's POV:

It's our third day at camp, and we have a free evening tonight, so naturally, we're in our favorite chilling spot: the game room.

This place has it all—a big TV, PlayStations, loads of board games, darts, mini-golf, bowling, and more. It's the perfect escape.

We're settled on the sofa, watching TV. The room is more crowded than usual because it's the men's FA Cup final today. The City and United girls are buzzing with excitement, while the rest of us are here just to relax and enjoy the evening.

"He's playing?" Keira nudged me.

"I don't know, I guess," I replied. She nodded, her eyes fixed on the screen.

"And there's been a little change in the United lineup. We've got news that they've changed their captain for the game," the commentator announced. "While Harry Maguire still remains on the pitch, the captain's armband has been passed to the young superstar of the team, Kai Beckham. I wonder what the idea behind this decision was..."

I heard a few girls scoffing at the TV. It was Beth, Keira, and Georgia—the ones who knew everything. The other girls just knew that we had broken up but didn't know the details.

"Twenty-one-year-old captain, and they want to win this?" Beth scoffed again.

I stayed silent, not wanting to get into it, but Keira nudged me gently. "You okay?"

I shrugged, trying to keep my focus on the screen. "Yeah, I guess."

Georgia rolled her eyes. "You'd think they'd pick someone more mature for such a big game."

"Doesn't matter," Beth added. "The whole team seems like a mess lately. They can't even decide on a captain."

I glanced at the screen and saw Kai leading the team out onto the pitch. Despite everything, he looked confident and composed. My chest tightened, remembering how much this meant to him.

"You don't have to watch if it's too much," Keira whispered.

I shook my head. "No, it's fine. Let's just watch the game."

Kai's POV:

I failed. I failed so badly. I lost my first ever love—my club, my Manchester United. And while trying to win back my first love, I lost my biggest love.

It's my last team huddle before the match... my last time pulling on the Red Devils jersey, my last chance to play for my childhood club.

"Lads, can I have a word?" I said, standing in the huddle in the changing room.

Harry nodded, giving me the floor. I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment.

"Look, I know things haven't been easy lately," I began, my voice steady but emotional. "For me, for the team, for everyone. But today, we have a chance to end this season on a high note. This is more than just a game. It's our chance to show everyone what we're made of, to show them why we play for Manchester United."

I paused, looking around at my teammates' faces. Some were determined, others anxious, but all were listening.

"I've made mistakes," I continued. "We all have. But what matters is how we respond. Today, we fight for each other. We fight for the badge. We fight for the fans. Let's give them something to be proud of."
