~Amelia's POV~
Once Hange, Levi, Yelena and Onyankopon ended their conversation, it was announced that they had decided to form an alliance. The following morning, we saddled our horses and prepared to return to the Walls. Levi and Hange didn't divulge to us exactly what they talked about, only giving us the orders to start packing up and to send word back to the Inner Wall that a briefing needed to be held. Despite our curiosity, we didn't question our commander and assumed we would find out at the aforementioned briefing.
Yelena and the rest of the Marleyans that came with them were to stay behind until their future was decided.
Dawn had broken and despite the lack of sleep, I returned to my tent to pack up my belongings. As I was packing up my sleeping bag, I heard the swish of someone entering my tent.
"Amelia," the person greeted hoarsely as if they'd been talking all night.
I swivelled around to greet them, discarding the rolled-up sleeping bag from my hands. "Levi? What are you doing here?" I asked confusedly. I couldn't fathom why he had come to see me when we should all be gathering our things.
Levi marched over to me with a serious expression on his face. "I have something important to tell you," he announced in a slightly hushed tone. Immediately, I straightened up. What was so urgent that he came all the way over here to tell me as soon as he'd left the tent with Yelena and Onyankopon? And why was he being so secretive?
Levi grabbed a few of my things and placed them in a bag. Catching on, I joined in. "Does this have something to do with Yelena?" I whispered to him, folding over one of my shirts.
"Yes," he nodded. "I can't say exactly what happened in that tent but I think you should keep your distance from her," he warned, handing me one of my books.
"Agreed, thanks for giving me the heads up. Now get out of here before someone gets suspicious," I shoved him towards the exit. Levi slipped out of my tent without a word and managed to get away unnoticed.
I went over to the tent door, zipped it up tightly and heaved a heavy sigh. My mind was starting to spiral from Levi's words. I hadn't been imagining the looks Yelena had been giving me when she landed. She and Zeke must have talked about me for her to bring up my name while negotiating with Levi and Hange. Now, all I wondered was exactly what they wanted from me. Yet all I could do for now was heed Levi's words and keep my distance until I discovered what Zeke had told Yelena.

"And that concludes Zeke Jaeger's requests," Hange concluded as they closed their book of notes in front of them.
We had arrived back at the Walls yesterday after two, long days of travelling and were already in session with the rest of the regiments. Hange had relayed everything Yelena and Onyankopon had told them bar the questions Yelena had about me.
It was shocking to finally have answers to the questions that have been keeping me up at night. However, I left with a sense of dread that the only reason we had survived this long was because of pure luck. If the other nations hadn't started a war last year, we would have likely been wiped out.
The next thing that bothered me was that the subject of Historia and I needing to be sacrificed was being brought up; that Eren's hypothesis from a year ago might have been correct.
"According to Zeke, he has a secret plan to solve the Eldian issue. But to carry it out, he requires the Founding Titan's full powers and a Titan with royal blood. With both, we can save the world. However, he'll only reveal the plan when his demands are met," Hange relayed and a round of disapproval played throughout the room. After all of the tragedy that Zeke caused, no one is quick to trust him or his plan, and rightfully so.
