It's the 21st of October, which is a Sunday, and I'm spending my time doing homework in the Library. It's an hour before bed and I should be leaving the Library in 10 minutes. I set a timer on my watch and continue working on my DADA homework on Ghosts. I continue working on it for awhile. I put my head down to rest on the table when I'm done with my homework. I'm just going to close my eyes for a minute...

I wake up with a jolt. Ugh! Where am I? I cast Lumos. A Wand-Lighting Charm I learned in Charms last week. I notice that I'm still in the Library. All I did was put my head and closed by eyes. I must've been really tired. I look at the time on my watch and my watch tells me that the time is 3 am in the morning. It is WAY PAST curfew!!!!!!

I quickly pack up all my books and parchment and put them in my satchel. I quietly head out the Library. The Library is on the Ground Floor and Ravenclaw Tower is on the 6th Floor. So, I'll have to avoid anyone who is out roaming the halls while I head back to my tower. I say Lumos again and head up the stairs and hallways. Halfway there, or so I think, I didn't even realize the stairs were still moving and didn't stop myself in time. I fall off the moving stairs and couldn't grab onto the ledge. I fall and land on one of the other stairs the wrong way. I landed on my leg the wrong way and I feel something tear through my calf. "Aaaaaaaaah!" I scream. That FUCKING hurts! I look around for my wand and notice that it's a few feet away from me with the light still on. It's pointing toward me, so I'm able to see what is wrong with my right leg.

OH MY GOD! There's a bone sticking out my leg. Probably my Tibia. There's muscle and tendon  that I can see and lots of blood running out of my wound. I try to get up, which is a very bad idea, and I fall back to the ground. I hear footsteps coming from the hallway somewhere near the stairs I'm on. "Is anyone there?" I question. "Please! I fell from the stairs and by Tibia tore through my skin. I'm bleeding out. Please come quickly!" I cry out in pain. I see someone run to the staircase and kneels down next to me. I can't really tell who it is, but I hear them conjure something and  spell me slowly onto it. I feel a cool, glass vial upon my lips, so I swallow whatever they've given me. Darkness clouds around me eyes and then everything went black.

I wake up hours later. I have no clue what time it is, so I lift my arm and realize that my watch isn't on my right wrist as usual. There is a white bandage wrapped around my wrist though. I check my left arm and there isn't a watch on that arm either. I turn my head and find my watch on a grey table next to me. I try to sit up and when I do, I cry out in pain. My head really hurts. An old witch, not that old, probably the same age as Professor Mcgonagall, comes over. "I'm glad you're awake my dear. Please don't sit up on your own. You had quite an early morning experience. You've had an Open Fracture where your Tibia has fractured and has tore through the skin of your calf. You will stay in here for a few days and let your leg heal," the healer says. I look at her pin on her uniform and it says Poppy Pomfrey.

I'm given a Pain Reliever Potion and a Blood Replenishing Potion. The blanket is taken off of my legs and Madam Pomfrey  redresses my right leg. She also adds some clear potion to my leg called Dittany. I think it helps with major wounds like mine. "Who brought me here this morning? I couldn't tell who it was because of how bad my pain was," I ask.

"It was Professor Snape. He told me he heard someone calling to him on the 3rd floor. He followed your voice and had to give you a Calming Draught because of how you were breathing. he had to lower your heart rate or else you could've started hyperventilating."

I nod my head. Madam Pomfrey brings a tray over with eggs, sausage, and some orange slices. I must've missed Breakfast. I say thank you and start eating. Once I was with Breakfast, I look for my bag of schoolbooks and find them hung on the headboard of the hospital cot. I open my books and start on homework for other classes. While I'm working on the meanings of the different Constellations from Astronomy, I didn't hear the doors open and someone walk across the tiles to my bedside. I look up when I feel someone watching me. "Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there Professor. What did you need?"
