“𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒 not much time for me to explain,” Kita told (F/n) and Suna while they were gearing up at the warehouse, “Zankoku was seen driving downward toward Mt. Fuji. We have reasons he might be going into hiding there,”

(F/n) snapped on her bulletproof vest, “We’re going after him by car?”

Kita nodded, “It would be suspicious if there were multiple, so it’s just you and Suna,”

Suna stopped what he was doing, “You can’t be serious?”

Kita sighed, “It wasn’t my decision…”

(F/n) knew what he meant, “I have a bad feeling about this,”

Suna looked at the two of them, “God dammit why did I choose this job?”

(F/n) put both her guns in her holsters and looked at Suna, “It’s now or never,”

Suna grumbled a complaint before they said goodbye to Kita and headed for the car garage.

Suna drove the car while (F/n) sat in the passenger seat.

“This is bullshit,” Suna said as he turned onto the mountain pass.

“At least you’re not completely alone,” Sakusa said through the earpieces that (F/n) and Suna had.

“Yeah, but we’re down an entire unit because of this,” Suna said.

“Now that’s bullshit,” Sakusa said, “I don’t know what Bokuto was thinking,”

“Can we not talk about this now?” (F/n) asked the two.

“Right,” Sakusa coughed, feeling bad, “I’ll stay off your ears for a while unless you guys see something,”

Sakusa put himself on mute and now Suna and (F/n) were sitting in silence. (F/n) looked outside the car window, watching the trees and guardrail follow them while they climbed up the mountain pass. Suna couldn’t bear the tension as he was nervous so he initiated their conversation.
