Esmè knew how things were when it came to Sam. And how he was trying to win her back but she knew that she didn't trust him.
She knew how he had hurt her and how he was trying to win her back and act as if nothing had happened.
Esmè knew that she didn't want or needed it with Sam. She knew that it was too much and she knew that he didn't treat her right and how she deserved so much better than him and how he was treating her.
Esmè lay in bed and sighed as she scrolled through all of the messages off of Sam. She wasn't in the mood.
She wasn't in the mood for his games or his excuses. She was feeling like crap.
And she had to go to work and face him and she was not in the mood to deal with Sam knowing how she had to go to a twelve hour shift with him there.
Esmè got out of bed and got dressed for work as she waled down into the kitchen as she made herself a coffee and yawned.
She knew how drained that she was feeling lately and she knew how the entire situation with Sam didn't help at all.
She knew that she just wanted for everything to be okay. And to work out but she knew it was far from easy.
Esmè knew that Sam wasn't going to give up and leave her alone anytime soon.

Esmè got to work and stood in the staffroom. She looked to see Lexie as she walked in as she looked to get. "Are you okay? You look like crap," Lexie said.
"Says the pregnant one," Esmè said.
"As the pregnant one, I can admit how crappy I feel. And I can see you look it as well. Is it my dad? I have told him to leave you alone," Lexie said.
Esmè looked to her and smiled. "He hasn't. I can handle him. But it's just doing my head in you know. So much has happened. And I just don't have the energy anymore. I don't want to fight with him over it all. It's just.."
"I get it. But I am here for you. I am your best friend. And it's weird you slept with my dad and everything, but I am here for you. And I am going no where," Lexie said as Esmè looked to her and smiled feeling grateful.

Esme stood at the nurses station as Sam walked over as she looked to him. "You're avoiding me
"Well aren't you clever. If only you'd get the message about it," Esmè said.
"You can't avoid me forever. I know what I did. I know I hurt you and I messed up. But I am sorry. I made a mistake. I want you back," he said.
Esmè looked to him and rolled her eyes. "Who says I want you back?"
"Because you do. You still love me. And we have something special," Sam said.
Esmè looked to him. She rolled her eyes and nodded. "We did but now. Leave me alone Sam," she said.
Unaware of how everything would change.
