Esmè sat in her flat. She sighed as she looked to her phone as it rang.
She knew that her head was a mess when it came to Sam. She knew all that had happened between them and it scared her.
She knew how she wanted for everything to be okay. But she knew how it was far from that.
She and Sam had history. And she knew how she was dumb enough to sleep with him again. She felt like an idiot.
She knew it was a mistake and how she wanted to forget it. But he didn't seem to realise that.
Esmè declined the call and ran her hands through her hair. She didn't know what it was about Sam. But she knew that he wouldn't leave her alone. And how it was a mess.
Esmè looked to see all the missed calls and texts off of Sam and sighed.
She knew what he wanted and she didn't know why he wouldn't take no as answer.
She knew that it was doing her head in. She knew that she was sick and tired of it all. She was tired of the drama of it.
Esmè knew what she had been through in the past. And it scared her and she didn't know what to do.
She knew that there was only so much longer that she could put up with the games for.
She knew that it was all getting to her. And she didn't know what to do.

Esmè got to work. She smiled as she looked to see Lexie. "Are you okay?" Lexie asked.
Esmè shrugged and smiled. "You're the pregnant one. Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that?"
Esmè looked to her and smiled. "I'm okay. If your dad would leave me alone, it would be a whole of a lot better. It's my own fault. I mean I slept with him. And now he thinks that we are back on," she told her.
Lexie looked to her. She rolled her eyes. "I get that. I've told him to leave you alone. But he won't. He's a jerk. I know it's hard. You do deserve a lot better than him. He's a jerk."
Esmè smiled. "A lot has happened Lex. I just don't have the time. I don't have the energy for him," she said.
She knew how minor if it was easy.

Esmè stood by cubicles. She looked to see Sam as he walked over to her and smiled. "Are you okay?" He asked.
"I would if you leave me alone."
Sam looked to her. "Esmè..we have something and you know it," he said as though it were obvious.
Esmè looked to him. She rolled her eyes. "What we had is in the past," she said.
Sam her and smiled. "I want you back Esmè...I will do what I have to do I can get you back," he said as she looked to him and walked off.
Esmè knew that this wasn't the end of the whole situation. She knew it was a mess but could she deal with it?
