Poseidon's PoV
It was an accident. I swear, it actually was. I was thinking about Athena when I tried to pop back to my palace. So naturally, I landed in Athena's room. Naturally.
Athena immediately looks up and yelps in horror. She slapped my twice across my face, not even giving me a chance to defend myself.
"Look, I'm sorry I accidentally popped into your room, but it wasn't even intentional!" I quickly defended.
Athena was unfazed. "Oh yeah? Well, what would you do if I was changing? Just stare at me? How can you even "accidentally" pop somewhere other than your destination anyway?"
"I- I would've popped away immediately, or bleached my eyes, or something. Who ever said I wanted to see you naked?" I scoff.
"That still doesn't answer my question. How did you end up here?"
I swear my face was a tomato at this point. A golden one. "I was erm, thinking of you."
"Good things, I hope?" she smirks. Gods, this goddess will be the death of me. Sometimes I just want to pin her against the wall and kiss her senseless, but she would skewer me to death.
"Yes. All good things." I breathe, and for a second, I could imagine was going to slap me again, bracing myself. But she did something that surprised me more. She kissed on my cheek.
"I think you missed." I say cheekily, my brain surprisingly not short-circuting.
Athena laughed. It was a melodic sound, and I confess I was dazed. "Maybe next time." She winks.
"Um." was all I could say.
"Now get the hell out of my room." She pushed me out. I stared at the close door in dismay as she winks at me.
