Athena's POV

It was all part of Aphrodite's blessing, she supposed.

Every sweet thing Poseidon said, she knew he meant. How? This innate feeling that stirs as he smiles up at her, every instinct screaming 'he's telling the truth!'. Prior to Aphrodite's blessing, she hadn't had such intuition for love.

She leaned her head to his chest. They were cuddling in his palace, enjoying the warmth and beautiful view of the underwater.

"Hm?" Athena prompts. Lost in her thoughts, she missed what Poseidon had said.

"I love you. I won't ever be unfaithful to you, or treat you badly. If you feel uncomfortable, all you do is give me a smack on the head, right?" He repeats. His sea-green eyes swirled, giving her the most adorable baby sea lion eyes she had ever seen.

Despite the nature of most Greek gods (cough cough - her father), she knew Poseidon meant what he said, and would do it as long as he meant to.

"I know." She replies with more warmth than most might expect from her. "I know."
