Jack's POV
Toby had to search for Masky and Hoodie. I removed Violet from my shoulder. She sat on the ground, still sobbing. There were so many tears falling down her cheeks. Her light, brown hair was a mess. Toby's blood was all over her face. Violet was a wreck. This whole situation really took a toll on her.I knelt down beside Violet. "I'm sorry." I said. She laid her head on me and softly wept. "I'm so, so sorry." I said again. Violet's hair fell in her face. I carefully swept her hair back with my finger tips. "Violet, please don't cry. I don't like it when you're sad." I begged her.
She sniffed, trying to calm down. Poor violet. She hates me. She has to. "Jack." she said.
"Yeah, Violet?" I replied.
"Can you always watch over me and keep me safe?"
"If you want me to."
"Then, I want you to."
"Ok."
"Thanks, Jack." she said, hugging me. Maybe she doesn't hate me.
