Solar X Ruin<3

Chapter 11,Solar's last day.

The day was here. Solar was to die from his virus, Ruin took him out for lunch, He spent the whole day with his family, it was evening. Everyone was sat on the roof of the Pizzaplex, watching the sunset.
"Today was fun" Solar says, his hand under Ruin's, Ruin's thumb brushing against the back of Solar's hand, he's holding back tears. Everyone is. Solar doesn't know. He doesn't know he's going to die. He thinks he's gonna go to sleep, and wake up with Ruin. But he won't wake up at all.

{EARLIER THAT DAY}

Earth, Lunar, Sun, Moon, Solar and Ruin are all walking through the park, they ask Solar about his interests, knowing he'll love ranting about it. They wanted today to be fun for him. Solar rants endlessly about 'Ghostbusters', he'd been hyperfixated on it since Frozen Empire came out.
He was very much enjoying it, ranting about how he thought it was unfair how Egon had apparently gone crazy then died of a heart attack, and how it was sad how Ray says he can rot in hell since they were best friends in the first two films. Then remembered a fan fiction about the two he'd read, then rants about that, the others listening the entire time. After he'd finished ranting, He got distracted by a stray cat, he knelt down, picked it up and pet it, he'd instantly fallen in love with it and brought it with them to the park, he called it Mittens.

{PRESENT TIME}

Solar rests his head on Ruin's shoulder as the sun set, the sky looked beautiful, Solar let out a breath, he looks up at the sky, the others hold back tears. Solar spoke,
"Ruin?"
"Yes, Love?" He says, his voice breaking,
"I love you"
"I love you too, Sol"
The others watched as Solar's eyes slowly shut...he fell unconscious.

Solar was dead.

Earth burst into tears, along with Ruin. Moon had his arm wrapped around Lunar, who was crying silently, Sun was on the other side of Lunar, in between him and Earth. He comforts Earth, Ruin pulled Solar's body to his chest, crying. He knew Solar wouldn't want him to be upset. But he couldn't help it, his boyfriend was dead. He couldn't save him.

Out of everyone, Moon felt the most guilt, blaming himself for not being able to save Solar.
"Hey..." Moon begins, "At least his last day was fun, right?"
The others nod in agreement.

{A few years later}

Ruin was now working in the theater, Sun and Moon in the daycare, Lunar and Earth helping out in either places. Ruin wore Solar's sun necklace, Moon wore his goggles. Earth made a crop-top like shirt that looks like Solar's. Lunar made a clay statue of Solar.

In the gift shop, the statue of Sun and Moon was replaced by a statue of Solar, that now had pictures of him and bouquets of flowers.

The kids often drew pictures of Solar to put at the gift shop memorial for him, the younger kids didn't understand, the older ones did. They knew he was gone, never coming back.

The kids drew more photos, they couldn't see but...right next to them, Solar smiled.
