I regret many things,
but there is one that will never be it,
because I will always stick by it.
Something so little and simple,
with a meaning so deep,
that will have you thinking about,
in your sleep.
I don't regret not listening,
but instead kept on hoping.
What does this mean you ask,
it means that all the things that were said,
the words that had me hanging by a thread.
That I'm glad I didn't listen to them,
but instead kept on hope for better life,
to know the truth deep down inside.
So I'll keep tuning you out,
because I refuse to let your words drag me down.
