Loop of lies {FAKE DATING!!}

#2 begining of the loop

It's 11 February and I have ten more days to prepare and then my exams are going to steal everything from me. My sleep, my time and fun. There was a basic routine I had every day, sleeping nearly at 4 am waking at 11 am and start studying at 1:30 pm or 2pm..after that my day would be mostly stu(dying) stu(dying) stu(dying). There was a list of things that I really wanted to do after exams are over. Watching shows or kdramas and scrapbook journaling. I had a fan page account of straykids. I post regularly as if exams are not going to turn my life upside down.

As a stay, I think they are my biggest motivation. And no, I am not talking about the 'motivation✨' that bangchan of stray kids showed us in one of his V live. I am around 300 followers and for some reason it's a big thing to me. After studying till late at night I would not go to sleep directly but scroll on Pinterest or make edits for my fan page account.

In evening after my long study session, I wrap my things up and check my phone. Only to see messages from Irina saying things about Chris again. I have had had enough of it, but I needed a way to shut her the fuck up.

An idea pops up. What if I pretend that i have a boyfriend?

Faking having a boyfriend is a ballsy move since I can get caught or get suspected, But I have decided I will do it anyway. I can come up with fake stories swiftly, but the crux is that it would be burdensome to find rare photos from Pinterest thereby they can trust and believe that I am actually committed in a relationship. I do have a photo of couple holding hands and the girl's hand is quite similar to mine, so I decide to send this pic to her. Before sending it to her I send her a couple of texts

"Hey. I already warned you to not talk about him, but you don't seem to understand at once. I think you would understand why I am not interested in him"

I finally take the courage to send a pic. I hesitate a bit before hitting the send button, but I do it anyway. I send her the pic in one time view.

After sometimes my phone blow up with notifications and I roll my eyes at it.

"OHH MY GODD?? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE. IS THAT YOU? WHO ARE YOU WITH????"

I Scan the whole text for a solid minute thinking of what to say next

"It's my new boyfriend and we have been in a relationship for a while now. His name is aiden."

We talk for a while about it. She wasn't really happy on hearing it. Initially, i thought she is interested but her replies were quite boring as we continued to talk about it. It was so obvious from her texts but anyway. I NEED TO TELL ANNIE ASAP.

Since we were going to talk at midnight, I decided to study till then to kill time and stay diverted from the shit I just did. I wanted to burst in laughter and at the same time I was distraught for what I just did, because if my lies are divulged and that would be mortifying as hell. All I want was her to stop bringing my ex persistently in every conversation. It's not hurting anyone so I think I will be fine. Now I just have to tell annie because no way I ain't telling the shit I just did to my bestest of the bestest friend

At night, 1:29 am

My phone vibrates and I check my phone promptly. It was her finally,

"Hey wassup"

"Heyy" I reply, ready to tell her all the tea.

The whole explanation was wholesome and telling her made me feel quite better.

"She isn't suspicious on anything right now, is she?" she asks over text

"No, but I fear that she might get suspicious. Plus, her replies were telling me that she was obviously not happy with it but who cares about that?" I reply

"xD"

"But what if she asks for more proof or something"

"Don't worry about that"

"How can I not?"

"We can make fake chats"

"How????"

"Well just change my name to Aiden and I will change my pfp to a boy"

how does she even come up with these ideas but what she advised isn't a bad idea. Making fake chats will make it more of a real thing and that's exactly what I want.

"Well then I have to search some pics and make sure that the boy looks similar so that she won't get suspicious. I have to make sure of skin tone and his hair too"

"You are quite sharp-witted in these things yeah?"

"I have learnt from the best"

"that's right lol. Ready to fool her to its best?"

"Chop chop!"

i am trying to sleep but several thoughts linger in my head. i am still undecided in my head to stretch this whole fake-boyfriend thing even more. however, my other side is elevated to do this and as long as Annie is assisting me, I think nothing can go wrong plus I am a professional fake story creator. it's a TALENT. I believe that Annie can definitely play a good role in being my fake boyfriend over text since she is a reading enthusiast plus i have confidence in her.

although Irina let slip everyone's secrets so I don't think she would keep it with her for a longer period of time so most probably I will tell the other friends about this too ( i am dooming myself)

the most decisive exam of my life is going to start but i am invested in doing this doesn't even surprise me because at least it will be so amusing to fool her. i am starting to feel as if i actually have a boyfriend. only if i actually had a good one but anyway.
