With the closing of the elevator doors, the rapid beat of my heart began to subside, her enigmatic quality consistently managed to leave me captivated

Suddenly my phone rang, and I heard Isaac and Noah's voices playfully yelling together on call.

"Are you living on the streets or something, why so late" Noah asked sarcastically I sprinted to my door as soon as the lift door opens and knocked only to find Isaac and Noah standing just beyond it Positioned by the second door that only typically served as an added layer of security somewhat fortified with protective bars.

"My mom allowed you in? are they still here or have they departed?" i inquired

"Yeah, they were in a hurry" Issac confirmed

My Parents's business travels often meant extended absences and my friends saw this as an opportunity to have fun Despite the excitement a sense of abandonment lingered as my parents once again departed without saying goodbye A blend of exhilaration and sorrow filled within me

"Open the damn door" i said

 "Where were you?" Noah raised his eyebrow

"Classes, what else?" i said innocently

"And what about that girl, did you talk to her?" Noah asked

my mood abruptly changed and i recalled the whole conversation and the silent walk in this chilly weather, how her fragrance caressed my senses with each breathe i took, it was a captivating blend of floral notes, each one on a feeling brushstroke on the canvas of my memory

"Only if you let me in" i say warning him

As I entered my home I was greeted by the sight of my friend's mess. My living room had become their makeshift entertainment hub as they watched TV leaving a trail of crumbs and discarded wrappers on the coffee table I facepalmed at the site of my usually tidy space transformed into a temporary hangout spot. It was a spacious and inviting living room adorned with soft neutral toned wall, ambient lighting that casts a tour cozy glow across the space. An L shaped occupying the corner. The sofa's plush cushions are dressed in neutral-coloured fabrics Complementing the surrounding decor, Small potted plants placed strategically in various corners infusing a touch of natural greenery and adding to the overall tranquillity. The living room floor was crafted from a rich dark wood that executes warmth and sophistication; its hardwood plants gleam softly under the gentle illumination cast by the ambient lighting. On the walls a few tastefully chosen pictures depict images of natural landscapes and scenic vistas, their frames blending seamlessly with the rooms earthy colour scheme. My parents had good taste

I loved the living room of my house more than my bedroom, 

"We were just chilling" Noah said as both Issac and Noah smiled innocently

i sit on the L shape sofa as Noah was focused on watching TV while swinging his hands, Issac asked me about her again
