Another time jump

A few months have passed since they moved to Manija. Ari enjoyed waking up to the sounds of waves crashing on the beach and listening to the seagulls. Her morning routine consisted of breakfast with the family and then spending most of her day on the beach. Her father became lenient and let her go by herself.

Ari missed Kai and the other guys. They always faced time at least once a week. Tess was staying with Beomgyu at the moment. She had graduated from college and was taking a small break before applying to jobs in the medical field. She was thinking of applying at a hospital in Incheon. How Ari wished she could live normal life like Tess. She went to a private school in Seoul. That is where she and Kai met. She left midway through high school and ended up at another private school in Bucharest,where she finished school. Her father let her take online classes at a college, but she dropped out. 

Ayno and Ho-sung never got to go to college. Right after high school, they started working in their father's business. They were mostly in charge of the dirty work. Going on small missions, extracting information, whether it be the easy way or the hard way. 

It was a cool, fall evening. Everyone was sitting together in their big living room. Yujun was on his computer, and Seri was knitting a sweater, Ayno and Ho-sung were watching a movie. Ari was drawing in her journal and messaging Kai. They had a fire going that stood under their flat screen TV. It was peaceful. What they didn't know was that a man was spying on them from outside, his camera zooming in on each of the family members, taking pictures for his boss. 

Dmitri Markoff

Markoff and his men arrived at Manija. They parked their cars a few miles down the road from the Choi house. Dmitri gave his men the signal. They put on black masks and loaded their guns. They had driven around seeing if there were any other houses that were nearby. They were in the clear. The closest house to the Choi's was 30 minutes. Perfect. 

"This is Markoff. Are there any new updates?" He spoke into his cell. 

"They have gone to bed. There are 20 guards surrounding the house. 3 at the main gate. Cameras at every corner of the house." 

"Okay, take out the cameras quickly. We will take care of the guards." He ended the call. He looked over at his men. "Use your silencer and kill the guards. Cameras should be off by the time we get there. I want them all alive. Knock them out if you have to, but just don't kill them. Understood?" 

The men shook their heads. With that, Dmitri Markoff led his men through the woods. He was finally going to get revenge for what Yujun did to his family 20 years ago. They reached the main gate. He signaled to one guy, and that guy stepped out into the open, shooting the guards in seconds. Markoff walked over to the gate and picked the lock. The gates opened. They walked through, his men shooting Yujun's guards as they made their way to the front door. He motioned for his men to circle the house, getting rid of any guards that were left. He snickered to himself. "This is going to be fun. The Choi family will be no more after tonight."
