TXT spent two months in Jilin, while Ari recovered. After she woke up, she spent the first few days in bed, still too weak to move. Beomgyu closely monitored her. All of her wounds had healed, including the one on her side. The second week, she was moving more and trying to walk, the guys assisting her whenever she needed it. BTS had visited a couple of times, happy to see Ari gaining her strength back. She had thanked them all for helping with her rescue.

During the evenings, Kai and Ari would spend time together, just the two of them. They had a lot of catching up to do. Ari had to repeatedly tell Kai to stop blaming himself for taking too long to find her. Kai couldn't help it. He would end up breaking down in tears, Ari doing her best to comfort him. Kai also told her about him being the butcher, not going into full detail. He had bowed his head, somewhat ashamed that he didn't tell her in the first place, nervous that he could potentially lose her. Instead, Ari wrapped her arms around him, kissing his head. She loved him, no matter what. The only rule that she wanted Kai to follow was to never give her details. Kai had smiled, pulling her down onto the bed, wrapping his arm around her, holding her close.  Then, they would fall asleep in Kai's bed.

Kai eventually stopped blaming himself. Ari was alive and back with him. That was all that mattered. She was safe.

With Ari being healthy physically and mentally, Soobin decided that it was time to go back home. Yeonjun had called to have a jet ready to fly out the next day. Everyone spent the day cleaning and packing. Ari was in Kai's room. She didn't have much besides the clothes that Kai had gone out to buy for her. She mostly packed Kai's belongings. The guys were down the hall, cleaning.

Ari was in the middle of packing Kai's shirts when she felt a small breeze. She stopped what she was doing and looked around. The window was closed. She felt another breeze past through her.

"Ayno?" Ari walked over to the window and looked out. She raised her hand and placed it on the glass. She then saw a faint hand place their hand to hers. She gasped and removed her hand.

"Ari." She turned to look behind her. Something was on top of the bed. She walked over and looked down. A red tulip was lying there. Ari put her hand to her mouth and stifled a cry. Ma. She picked the tulip up and held it to her heart. "I miss you all."

Kai walked down the hall, tired from moving and lifting boxes. Soobin told him not to lift the heavy ones due to shoulders and side, but He had ignored him. Bad idea. Kai walked in and saw Ari standing in front of the window.

"Ari? Are you okay?" He asked, walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her, resting his head on top of hers.

Ari turned in his arms until she was looking up at him. "I can't go back to Seoul. Not yet, at least."

Kai gulped. "Why is that?"

Ari took a deep breath. "I wanna say goodbye to my family, in Manija. Please?"

Kai sighed a relief. "Of course. Do you want me to go with you or...?"

"I want you to be their with me. Anyway, I don't know what happened to their bodies."

Kai smiled. "We buried them not far from the house. I'll let Soobin know our plans then."

Ari hugged him, nestling her head under his chin. "Thank you, Huening Kai."

"Anything for you, love."

Soobin, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Yeonjun left the next day, heading home to Seoul. Kai and Ari were able to get a private plane to go straight to Manija. It took them a while, but they finally got there, the pilot landing in a clearing. Kai told him to give them an hour.

Kai had Ari's hand in his as he led her to where her family was buried. She remembered everything about this place. Kai walked down the path that she used to take to the beach. They stopped once they got to the sandy. Ari looked around. It was still all the same. Beautiful and calm. Kai motioned with his eyes to where he wanted to go. She looked in the direction his eyes went, and her mouth parted. A bush of tulips was planted near a tree. Kai let go of her hand, thinking that she would want some time alone. She slowly walked over. The tulips were red, yellow, pink, and purple. Once she got to the tulips, she looked down and saw a headstone.

The Choi Family

 Loving Father, Ma & Brothers

  Yujun, Seri, Ho-sung and Ayno

Ari knelt down and cried. She cried for her family for everything that they went through. They didn't deserve this. They were supposed to have a long and wonderful life. She pulled the red tulip out of her coat pocket. she gave it a kiss and laid it down on the headstone.

"I miss you guys so much. You will always be close to my heart. I love you."

Ari felt Kai wrap his arm around her, leaning her head onto his chest. She grabbed his coat and buried her face into his chest, crying. Kai hugged her tight, rubbing her back, staring down.

"I'll take good care of her, don't you worry. I promise."

Four spirits stood behind the two, smiling down at them. Yujun had his arm around Seri, Ho-sung, and Ayno standing on either side of their parents.

"Ari will be okay. She is in good hands now." Ayno said, looking up at the sky, a smile on his face, as the four disappeared, never to be seen again.
