Epilogue

Two years later

Ari was sitting on the front porch of TXT headquarters, waiting for the guys to return from their meeting with Stray Kids. She was getting antsy and nervous about Kai's reaction to what she was going to tell him. She stared at the driveway, her fingers busy twisting her wedding ring. Yes! Wedding ring. They have been married for 4 amazing years. It was a small wedding. BTS was invited, and Tess was able to take work off to spend a week helping Ari with wedding stuff. Beomgyu was given the honor to walk her down the aisle, Soobin marrying them. Their honey moon was spent in Alaska. When they had returned home, Kai asked her if she wanted to move into their own house, but Ari knew that that wasn't what Kai would want. Instead, she asked Soobin to see if it was possible to add an addition to the house so they could have their own living space and not bother the others. Soobin had agreed. It felt like they lived in their own home, a sliding door diving them from the others.

Tess and Beomgyu tied the knot a year after they did, and yes, Tess moved into TXT. It was nice to have a woman around the house. Kai and Beomgyu didn't necessarily enjoy it when the girls would demand a girls' night. It would end with the girls getting drunk and the guys taking care of them, but they wouldn't have it any other way.

Soobin, Yeonjun, and Taehyun enjoyed the bachelor life. They were the ones who went to most of the meetings with their alliances than Beomgyu and Kai. No problems had arisen, thank goodness.

Ari was getting bored, waiting for them. Tess was out of town for work business, so it was just her and the security guards. She stood up slowly and walked back inside. She went down the hall, heading to her place. She slid the door open, and as soon as she stepped in, she felt nauseous. She rushed to the bathroom and puked. She sat on the bathroom floor for twenty minutes, waiting for the nauseousness to subside. When she felt like it was gone, she stood up and turned the shower on. She stripped and stepped in, the hot water burning her skin. Just the way she likes it. She looked at her body. Faint scars were on her arms, shoulders, and side. It took her years to finally feel comfortable in her body. The first time her and Kai made love, she was scared to show her body to him. Kai loved her more and more, kissing each scar on her perfect body. She had done the same to him, making love all night.

Ari smiled. She washed up and then shut the water off. She grabbed a towel that was hanging on the wall and stepped out, wrapping her body in it. She opened the door and walked out, not noticing Kai was sitting on the bed, waiting for her.

"Well, hello there."

Ari jumped and turned to see a smirking Kai. "Yah, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that!" She grabbed a shoe and threw it at him, Kai ducking in time. He stood up, hands raised in surrender.

"I'm sorry, love. I keep forgetting." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her nose.

"Forgot my ass." She chuckled.

Ari was lifted up into the air and thrown onto the soft bed. She leaned up on her elbows and watched Kai slowly walk over, unbuttoning his shirt. She smiled.

"What do you think you're doing, Mr. Huening?"

"What does it look like I'm doing, Mrs. Huening?"

Kai was at the foot of the bed, his shirt fully unbuttoned. Ari bit her lip, something Kai loved. He put his knees on the bed, his hands going on either side of her. He crawled over her body, his legs straddling her sides, hands near hers. He bent down and kissed her lips. She moaned, kissing him back. He bit her lip, her mouth parting. Kai slipped his tongue in, and they were fighting for dominance. Ari had taken his shirt off, her hands unbuckling his belt and undoing the button. Kai deepened the kiss, his hand sliding to her front, unwrapping the towel. Once they were fully naked, Kai covered themselves with blanket, continuing to make out.

Ari pulled back, breathing heavily. She stared at Kai and smiled. "I have something to tell you."

Kai rolled off her, leaning his elbow on the pillow, his head resting on his hand. "Do tell."

She rolled onto her side to look at her husband. "You're going to be a father."

Kai's eyes widened, and a big smile formed on his face. "You're pregnant!?"

Ari nodded her head. Kai took her face in his hands and kissed her hard, rolling her back onto her back, his body covering hers.

"That is the best news ever, love. I can't wait." He kissed her nose.

"Come August, we will have a little one."

Sure enough, August 7, Huening Min-ho was born. Kai and Ari were so in love with their little boy. Soobin, Taehyun, Yeonjun, and Beomgyu were already having arguments about who would be his favorite uncle. Beomgyu thinks it will be him.

Kai and Ari ignored them, focusing all their attention on Min-ho. They vowed to love and protect their little one. Ari looked up at the four guys, at the foot of the bed, jabbering away. She smiled at them. They were going to be the best uncles. She then turned her head to look at her husband. He was sitting next to her on the bed, holding Min-ho. Ari fell in love with Kai all over again. Seeing him holding their child was beautiful. She wished her family were here, but she knew that they were looking down at them, smiles on their faces.

Kai looked over at Ari. "You did wonderful, love. He's perfect. "

Ari leaned her head on his shoulder. "We did wonderful. I love you so much, Kai."

Kai kissed her head. "I love you too, Ari. Forever and always. "
