Chapter-11

Shubman was going to the airport with Abhishek to join his team. Abhishek came to drop him, and Mayank was with them too because he had to go somewhere, so Rohit asked them to drop him too.

Shubman knows that Mayank is going to meet his father.

Authors Pov

Shubman saw that Mayank was deeply thinking about something and was a little bit sad.

Shubman: What happened, Mayank? Why are you sad? You should be happy that you are going to meet your dad after two years.

Mayank: That's the reason Shub I didn't know how to meet him before either. We met once a month, and I don't know if he loves me or not. He has never contacted me in these two years, and he has not even come to watch my games. I think he's not happy to have me. He has a son because of me. My mother died. He must resent me for that.

Abhishek: What about you? Do you talk with him when you meet him? And what do you call him when you meet him?

Mayank: (while looking at Abhishek) I don't say anything either; I don't know what to say.

Abhishek: When was the last time you called him dad?

Mayank: Maybe when I was 15😅. I stay with my mom and dad; I only started meeting him when I was 8 years old.

Here Mayank is referring to his Uncle and Aunty's who is from his mother's side when he was born his father was always abroad for business meets so their was no one to take care of him how much maids and nanny's will see him so his mother's brother and sister in law take him with them and loves his like his own son who is 5 years older than Mayan even he adores Mayank like his own brother he always wanted a small brother and it was Mayank who fulfilled his wish his name is Abhay and Abhay's parents name are Swati and Vikram Sharma and Mayank's father's name is Shashank and Mother's name was Maya his mother was the one who thought of Mayank's name the name came from Maya's May and Shashank's ank from which it become May-ank.

Mayank calls Swati and Vikram mom and dad only because he has stayed with them since he was born, and because Abhay calls them mom and dad, he also started to call them mom and dad, and it became a habit, and they have also allowed him to call him mom and dad only, so that is why he has two dads.

And everyone knows about it. That is why nobody asks him the reason for it.

Abhishek: He loves you; worry not. If he hadn't, he would have stopped meeting you. He is a very busy person, but he still wants to meet you. He does love you, but he doesn't know how to express it, so you take the initiative. First, start calling him dad and tell him your everyday story, good or bad. Shubman Get an idea from this that Abhishek has fallen for Mayank too deeply because Abhishek never gets into anyone's family issue if he is not someone he cares about, but he started getting involved this early. Wow, you are getting ahead of Abhishek. All the best in pursuing Mayank; I don't think you will need my help.😁😁😁😁

Abhishek has told Shubman that he has fallen for Mayank and to help him pursue him, but Shubman gets to know he doesn't need his help; he is more capable of it.

Abhishek dropped Shubman at the airport and left with Mayank while giving him an idea of whether his dad loves him or not.
