I heard a knock on my door, "Come in".
My secretary Mr. Choi came inside and bowed, "Sir, Mr. Jeon wants you to visit him--" I cut him off in mid sentence.
"Tell him I'm busy."
"Mr. Jeon said it's important", Mr. Choi spoke quickly.
"Just tell him I'm busy", I ordered him with a strict tone this time.
"Okay sir", And then he left.
I sighed.
Now it's too much. I can't just ruined someone else's life just because of his business.
I know what kind of important talk he has with me.
It's about marriage.
I know he again finds someone and wants me to marry her so that marriage benefits our company.
Ding ! Ding !
My phone rang and I know exactly who is it.
My Dad.
I don't want to talk to him but I have no choice.
He is still the boss in the company and I'm just a temporary CEO.
I'm working hard to get this CEO position permanently and after taking this position I'm going to give a taste of my dad his own medicine.
I take a deep breath before receiving the call, "I don't have much time so come straight to the point".
"Where is your manners? Did you forget that I'm your dad?"
"Dad?", my anger disguised as a chuckle, "Who's dad use their own child for business?" My voice calmly yet frustrating.
"Don't worry I'll introduce someone like me soon", my dad spoke with a little scoffed.
"I'm not interested", I'm about to cut the call when my dad speaks up, "Don't forget your position my son, you are nothing without me. I can kick you out of my company whenever I want so think twice before showing your bullshit attitude to me. I'll not tolerate your bratty attitude."
" Soon you are going to marry the girl I choose and it will be with Mr. Kim's daughter and it's final", he declared.
"It's not final until I agree with this marriage", I protest.
"Who says you have choice?", he laughed. "Do you want to lose your CEO position?"
Ofcourse not. I worked hard day and night to come this far and I'm still working. I made this company better than before.
"I need you to reply son, are you willing to lose your CEO position? Yes or no?" He forced the last sentence.
"Do I look like an idiot who works day and night just to lose this position?" I questioned him.
