Jungkook's POV:

"So, the meeting is in half an hour, right?" I ask, glancing at my watch.

"Yes, sir," Mr. Lee confirms, his tone is professional as always.

Before I can continue, there's a knock on my office door, and my uncle steps in. The moment I see his face, I know this meeting won’t be pleasant.

I stand up, forcing a smile. "Uncle, what brings you here?"

He takes a seat across from me, his expression unreadable. "Just wanted to check on you, my son. And also, Jungkook, there's something important I need to discuss."

"Sure, go ahead," I reply, curious but wary.

"I'm concerned about you," he begins, his voice laced with fake concern. "Handling everything at such a young age must be difficult. It would be easier if my son worked alongside you, given that he's older and would be the perfect CEO. You know I care about you as if you were my own son, and it pains me to see you under so much stress."

His sympathy is so obviously insincere it almost makes me laugh. Isn't this the same man who tried to oust his own father from the company? The irony is rich. I know exactly what he's after—he wants the company for his son, not for me.

I sigh, mentally preparing myself for the nonsense I’m about to endure.

"And you’ve just gotten married. You should spend more time with your wife," my uncle adds with a sly smile, as if he knows something I don’t.

"We're fine, Uncle. You don't need to worry about my marriage," I respond calmly.

"But I can't help but wonder," he continues, spinning the chair to survey my office. "You getting married was a surprise. A workaholic like you settling down? It's like eating soup with a fork. Isn’t it odd, Mr. Lee?" he asks, turning to my secretary with a scoff.

Mr. Lee looks at me, unsure of how to respond.

"People change," I reply nonchalantly.

"Yes, they do," my uncle says, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

"If you're done, I have to prepare for my meeting," I say, rising to my feet, but he places a file on the table.

"Take a look," he says, his sly smile returning.

I glance at the file, then back at him. "What is this?"
