007 - 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

EVERYONE became more aware ever since they banished Ben because he got stung while it was still broad daylight. They always thought that grievers were most likely to be seen only at night, the time when they are most active.

"Lana."

"What?" She replied.

She looked up to see Minho, it was lunchtime and he was interrupting her. It had been 2 days ever since Ben got banished and she couldn't take that off her head, she drew her attention to Minho, to hear what he has to say.

"I know we don't get along well but-"

"Answers no." She answered while packing up her backpack.

"Just hear me out!"

She stood up and fixed her gaze at Minho. "Still no."

"Come on Lana!"

"This is why nobody doesn't want to approach you."

She stopped on her tracks. "What?"

"I said 'This is why nobody doesn't want to approach you'."

"You take that back!" She turned to Minho then exclaimed.

"See!? This is why we dont get along with eachother, with everyone—"

"You always argue with them and you think you're alway right." He added.

"Minho, you don't know anything about me. Even Newt doesn't give a shit!"

"Look, I'm just trying to have a stable relationship with you because—"

"Alby said so?" She cuts him off.

"Well I don't shucking care! Remember, I'm not you, I'm not like everybody else. I tried to be nice, but the first impression of everyone when I got here was disgusting. I heard those before I punched you in the face, I thought you were different but no, you're just like everybody else."

"You don't understand me." The silence was loud so she just left him there, she walked away leaving him thinking.

It has been a few days ever since they argued, she didn't notice that they hardly talk anymore but why did she needed to care?

She saw Minho and Alby go in the maze, she tried to run along with them but Someone grabbed her arm, it was Thomas.

"Why is Alby going into the maze?" She immediately asked him.

"Newt said that they were going to retrace Ben's footsteps."

"Alby hasn't been in the maze for years. He could hurt himself!"

"Believe me, he's got it." A voice spoke from behind.

She turned around to see Newt. "Believe me, I know how dangerous the maze is."

She clenched her jaw, as she looked at Newt and Thomas "I'm going to the maze."

"No."

"You're not my mother, Newt!"

"You don't get to control what I need to do!" She added, "I'm leaving." She said as she started jogging to the maze.

"Lana, wait!" He called out.

Hours passed by and she still couldn't find them, she looked at her watch '5:30 pm'. She was about to go back to the maze as she heard footsteps, it must've been them so she followed where the sound was coming from and after she took another turn she saw Minho with Alby but he was unconscious. Alby's arm was wrapped behind Minho's neck, she immediately ran to them.
