012 - 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡?

THEY all walked out of the room and saw a hallway, it looked like it never ends. Lights started to turn on, they all turned around to see light's turning on one by one. They had no choice but to walk until they found something, the silence was surprisingly comfortable. They stopped as they found a door with a green light beside it. It had a sign on top of the door that said "exit".

"Seriously?" Frypan complained.

Thomas then approached the door, he held the handle and opened it. He pushed the door to see the other side, there was no signs of life. All of them were dead, all the body's on the floor was lifeless, the lights was also flickering. An alarm was heard, there was screens with blue light at the end of the room. Thomas entered first then came Lana, as she walking in, these scene's started flashing in her head, making her hold her head as it was aching.

Scene's when she was younger, times when she used to play with Thomas and the others that she knew. As soon as she became a teenager, her mother, Ava Paige asked her if she wanted to work with her. Another scene flashes, when she was experimented on since she had these rare genetics in her dna. Her own mother, led this experiment. Every second, one by one, another then another flashes through her head.

She held her head tighter as she stumbled, almost loosing her balance. Luckily Minho was behind her and caught her, he placed his hands on her waist to prevent her from falling as he let the others walk past him.

"Are you okay?" Minho said.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little head ache." Lana responded as she turned around to face Minho.

"Your definitely not okay."

"What?" She stuttered as she felt a warm trickle in her right nostril. Confused, she touched her nose and saw bright red blood on her fingers.

Lana took a deep breath, feeling a bit lightheaded but relieved that the bleeding was subsiding.

"I'm gonna be fine." Lana reassuringly said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I am."

Lana started walking towards the group, Minho followed as they're standing in front of a screen. With a woman talking, she looked like someone professional, someone familiar.

"I am Doctor Ava Paige."

She walked closer to get a focused look, her eyes widen as the woman talking in the screen was the Lady she's been seeing in her visions, when she had hallucinations, and in the void.

"If you're seeing this, then you've successfully completed the maze trials."

"I wish I could be there in person to congratulate you..."

"But circumstances seem to have prevented it."

"I'm sure by now, you're all very confused, angry, frightened."

"I can only assure you, that everything that's happened to you. Everything we've done to you, It was all done for a reason."

"You won't remember but the sun had scorched our world." The screens started to show some disasters.
