"So do you have time or not?"  Chris asks over the phone.

"I think I do after school today, I don't have to tell them that Mr Dawson isn't coming today."

"That's great Em, I'll see you later."

"Yeah. You see later." He hung up. I got ready for school. I decided on my sweater with a sun on the back and some light blue jeans.

After school Chris and I decided to go on a walk in the park. "Have I told you that I really like your sweater yet? It suits you."

I smile at him. "Why does it suit me?"

"Because you remind me of Sunshine. Your hair is blonde and you're wearing a sweater with a sun on the back. You know what, I'm gonna call you Sunny from now on."

I chuckled. His arm snook around my waist and his hand landed on my hip. "If you're gonna call me Sunny I'm gonna call you Chrissy."

"Fine by me. So Sunny, should we get some hotdogs? You know they have a good food truck closeby."

"Sounds great Chrissy." We both chuckled before we walked over to get some hotdogs.

We arrived at the tiny food truck. "Ahh there we have Evans! What can I get the both of ya?" We looked at each other.

"Classic." We said at the same time.

"Loud and clear Evans, what's your name lovely lady?"

"Emma Macfayden, nice to meet you."

"Alright here you go Macfayden and Evans. I'm Bass. Don't worry about the money, I got you." We nodded at him. "Oh, y'all would need some napkins." He handed us a couple of napkins and we took off back to the park.

I took a good look at the napkin. Huh? Something is written down on one of them.

'The lakes are beautiful this time of year.'

"That they are, Em. We should go there." I nod in agreement. There are beautiful lakes in the park here. Henry and I went fishing there once, it felt like I was in a different world. It's almost magical.

We arrived at the lakes and man, it's still beautiful. I sat down on a bench and Chris sat down next to me. He quickly wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"It's so beautiful here. Almost magical. The willow trees that hang over the lakes make it look like a painting almost. But it's real." I say.

Chris chuckled. "Yeah, I'm lucky enough to grow up here."

"Sometimes I wish that I grew up in Massachusetts. It's so beautiful here. Rhode Island is right next to Massachusetts but it looks so different."

"I want to show you something." He said while looking at me with the biggest smile. He looks excited, but nervous at the same time.

"Okay." We stood up again, Chris held onto my hand tightly as we walked towards a big Willow tree. He pushed past some branches and we got to almost a hidden area. The branches of the tree hid this place. Fairy lights are wrapped around the tree.

"Wow, just wow. It's beautiful here." I say as we sit down with our backs against the tree.

"Yeah, I agree. Sometimes I go here to escape from the world and just exist. Be here without the worries and stress. It's one of my favorite places in the world and the weird part is that not many people know this exists."

I entertwine our fingers. "I get why you like to go here. It's so calming. But I have one question. Are the fairy lights a part of the tree or did someone hang them up."
