"Mommy? Is Riley almost done?" My oldest son Matthew asks, or my middle child.

I shrug. "The bell is going off in 5 minutes, so we'll have to wait a little longer." He nods.

Matthew and his younger brother Cooper are in the back of the car waiting until their big sister Riley is done with Kindergarten. Matthew's preschool ends a big earlier than Riley's kindergarten so Coop and I already picked him up.

"Mama, I'm bored." Cooper says with a pout.

"Do you wanna listen to some music?"

"Yah! Sebby!"

With Sebby he either means Uncle Sebastian or Under The Sea from The Little Mermaid, sung by Sebastian the crab.

I turn Under The Sea on via my phone and both boys start singing along. After a while Riley was done for the day and walked into the car. All three of them are sitting in the back.

"Daddy didn't have time?" She asks. Another crack forms in my heart. It's true that Chris doesn't have much time for us left.

"N-no. He had the premiere of Gifted yesterday, he is probably very tired. That was a big thing for him." That's the reason we're in LA right now.

"Yeah but he hasn't picked us up in, I can't remember how long. And you were at the premiere too!"

"I know baby, maybe you'll see him at home."

Chris has been pulling away from us since the press tour for Captain America Civil War ended. Which isn't like him at all. But it still happend. The kids always ask about him, but I have to say that he isn't home with a brave face. And every time another crack forms in my heart when they ask.

"UNDER THE SEA! UNDER THE SEA!" The boys sing, Riley just crossed her arms. She likes Aladdin way better. Maybe even Tangled, which is funny because I'm Rapunzel. She still hasn't figured it out.

They know Daddy is famous, but they still think I work with white horses. We were walking in Boston a year ago and someone walked up to me and told me she loved my song White Horse. And well, now my kids think I work with white horses.

I turned the sound a bit down and Riley smiled. "Oh! I made a drawing of Captain America at school today, can we hang it on the fridge?"

"Of course we can baby."

My fridge went viral about a year ago because of all the drawings on it. I don't get why people think it's strange though, I really love it. It gives the house a little more life.

We arrive at home, I help the boys strap out of their seats. Riley can do it herself. They march into the house, Riley straight to the fridge, Matthew outside and Cooper is playing with Dodger.

Matthew is a wild child. He has ADHD so his focus isn't that great. That's why he might go straight outside when he gets home from school. He's probably playing baseball.

"I like it right here!" Riley says while holding her drawing against the fridge door.

"I like it too babe, let me get a magnent." I grab a magnent and put it on the paper.

"I hope Daddy likes it, I made it just for him."

"He will love it. Now, time for some fruit." Riley sat down on the kitchen barstool and I started to prepare some fruit.

Cooper walked into the kitchen with Dodger trotting behind him.

Matthew also walked into the kitchen, the side of his blue shirt covered in dirt.
