*Hans*Hanslow Leonardo Mancini, a man of few words. His very being emanated power and dominance, a combination that left people begging at his feet for his attention.
He wasn't always like this, at the early age of twelve he was as ordinary as any teenager was. But they say the sight of death changes a person and in this case it changed him for the better. Seeing his mother shot dead because of a debt due from his father, scarred him for years.
At the time he never understood who his father angered so much until he heard the whispered.
'Did you hear his mother was shot by a bunch of mafia men'
'Oh my goodness, I heard but worst of all I heard those guys are people you don't mess with.'
'I know right, to be targeted by the biggest crime group around is hell on earth'
The discovery of this so called 'gang' made Hans want to become powerful so he could enact his revenge. His deadbeat father unfortunately was no help as he killed himself the same day Hans mother was killed. Leaving Hans to become an orphan at an early age but this gave him more independence and start doing his research.
Day by day he would get deeper and deeper into the townships of his town. Making friends with the worst of the worst, creating connections which turned into a tight knit family with him at the centre. Soon enough he became a leader of a formidable group, a group so powerful it left people shaking by its name alone.
Hans had no interest in the money he was rolling in, he simply had other needs to accomplish but he never forgot where he came from. He treated his group with respect which earned him undying loyalty from his group.
Hans was a man of honour and truth. He detested lies and bullies, and all his life he didn't treat his group as if they were insects to be used to do his bidding but rather brothers in arms. A life as dangerous as his, there was never time to sit still and admire the scenery, there was always something to do or someone to fight.
Which happened to be the reason as to why Hans never managed to settle down. A 26 year old young bachelor as himself had all the ladies he could want at the snap of a finger but he never indulged himself in that. Although he did sleep around with girls now and then which is natural for a man with his sex drive. But he never built any connection with any female he bed, he simply scratched his itch and continued with his life.
He wasn't interested in settling down anytime soon, after all he was still a man on a mission. A mission of killing the man who killed his mother. But things don't always go the way we plan them to, exhibit A being Hans meeting Carolyn.
That day Hans didn't have any reason as to head to the superstore but he needed to do something ordinary and escape his men for a few hours. His feet led him to the superstore, he grabbed a trolley on his way in and aimlessly began filling it with junk food. His mind like a storm at sea, unsettling and chaotic.
Amidst him walking down an isle his attention was caught by a loud wail of a child. He turned his head to see a young boy not older than six or seven. He watched as a petite woman quickly picked up the child and began rocking him. She was a tiny little thing and Hans found the scene quite hypnotic.
He remembered how his mother used to hold him with such love and adoration. He watched as the woman turned looking for the child's mother, the moment she turned around in a full circle Hans' breath got caught in his throat.
She was such a pretty little thing, like a delicate flower. From the worried crease in her brows to her parted plump lips as she hushed the crying child. Her delicate eyes dark and mysterious, her skin smooth as melted chocolate and as dark as mocha. Her petite figure practically begged Hans to press her against the shelf and have his way with her.
