The moment Hans arrived at his luxurious lake house, he was greeted by a bunch of his men.
The moment they saw him all playfulness vanished. They stood up straighter and performed their tasks to the t.
"Welcome back sir," a chorus of welcome greeted him.
"Thanks guys," he managed to say through gritted teeth.
He walked up the front steps into his wide beautiful lake house. Every inch of it was crystal clean and sparkled, most utilities were made of glass from the tables to the walls. Modern furnishes littered the four bedroom house, this was Hans favourite place that he owned.
"Gather everyone Max, I want a meeting in five." Hans instructed as he headed up to his office with Anesu.
His office was a generous room with a mahogany desk and a chair fit for a king. A comfortable couch was pressed against the wall with a small coffee table opposite the couch. A brown rug under the tiles spread throughout the room. The colour scheme being black and white.
Hans sat in the king sized chair and awaited his men. Anesu stood besides Hans. Not a mere minute later and there was a knock on the door.
"Enter," Anesu answered.
Up to fifteen men flowed into the room before standing in rows of five with Max in front of them.
Max was the head of the men and was in charge of all operations and the men's safety. He stood at six foot, dirty blond mop of hair, hazel eyes, sun kissed skin and a lean body. A clean cut beard graced his face along with a nose piecing.
"You called sir," Max stated firmly.
Hans merely nodded before he abruptly stood up. He walked to stand in front of his desk and leaned against it.
"Do I not take good care of you guys?" Hans asked with creased brows, he crossed his arms and waited for a response.
"Of course sir," Max spoke for the men without hesitation.
Most of the men could all agree to his answer. Hans was a fair leader who treated his men well.
"So then tell me why one of you had the audacity to go behind my back and feed our ENEMY all our plans," Hans roared in anger, his calm composure breaking as he stood to his full height.
Hans looked Max dead in the eyes with such hatred. Max shook where he stood, he didn't know what he did wrong but he knew this would be his last day on earth if he further angered his boss.
"I ASKED YOU A QUESTION, ALL OF YOU ANSWER ME!" Hans yelled, his fists clenched and itching for a fight.
"Sir I'm unaware of what's going on." Max spoke hesitantly clearly in the dark about what was going on.
Hans removed his fiery gaze from Max to Patrick Low, the culprit himself.
Patrick's heart skipped a beat in fear, he began to sweat as he realised he wasn't going to leave this building in one piece if Hans found out what he did.
Hans gaze shifted through his men before they settled back on Max.
"Max, I trust you with my life and I would expect you to trust me with your life right?" Hans asked.
"Yes sir," Max answered immediately
"Good, then I suggest you tell me who's been blabbing behind my back." Hans said.
Max hesitated, he didn't know there was a traitor among them. But if he didn't mention a name he would've failed at his job which meant he was useless to Hans. The only person Max could think of was either Patrick Lou or Liam Stellar. Those two were the only ones seeming suspicious for the past couple of days. They never mentioned where they kept slipping off to during their day offs, they always asked a head of time for information that wasn't meant for them.
