A gust of air passed between us as I looked at him munching on his food in the open environment of the restaurant.

" Was it planned, Mr. Kapoor?" My question made him look up and he shook his head nonchalantly .

" I don't trust you." I said while grinning at him and continuing with my food.

" I don't think so. If you haven't trusted me then you would not have come all the way from Mysuru to Pune three days ahead of your official scheduled time and also you wouldn't have stayed with me in my house and in my bedr..."

" Stop it. Can you keep your voice down? They may hear." I said, keeping my hand on his mouth while looking around and when I turned my eyes back at him, he was smirking. I retreated my hand.

" Your cheeks are red. " He smiled while leaning back on his chair and I patted my cheeks while taking a breath.

" Of course they are. I applied so much blush before leaving the house." I lied and he raised his brows and then winked at me.

" Don't worry. I trust your lie." This time he was trying to hold back his smile as he picked up his fork again to eat.

" You know how to dodge a question. Impressive." I said while pouring myself a glass of water and I felt his gaze on me but I didn't look. I was a little upset about how he turned the situation around.

" Shridha, look at me." He said, softly and I looked up at him .

" Yes, it was planned. I know that you love being in nature, surrounded by nature hence I decided to bring you here. I want to impress you. Is it working?" His words made me smile again and I wiped my mouth with the help of a tissue while nodding my head.

" Aren't you dodging my question right now?" He asked and I didn't say anything but smiled while looking up at the sky. I wanted to see the moon but it was not visible due to heavy clouds.

It may rain in a while. I could hear the thundering and lightning sounds invading my ears.

We came out to his car after splitting the bills and paying it. He was about to open the door for me but I held his wrist stopping him from doing so.

" What's wrong?"

" Nothing. Let's just stand here for a while. " I said and he smiled while leaning his back against the car.

" Okay." We both stood there for a long time. The nearby trees danced to the air, making us feel the chilling wind as I rubbed my hand to keep them warm before inserting them inside the pockets.

We didn't talk, we just looked at the sky where nothing was visible but the dark clouds hovering over her head giving us the signal for upcoming rain. I didn't know that silence could be this beautiful but it was. Everything feels beautiful with him and this thought made me smile.

" You will drop by the hotel tomorrow, right?" I asked, breaking the silence and he looked at me.

" But your work starts the day after tomorrow. Why do you want to leave tomorrow itself?"

" We have to report by five in the evening tomorrow and also I have a few things to discuss with my professor." I said and he nodded his head.

" When will you be done with your project?"

" If everything goes as planned, we will be free by the 27th of this month."

" Woah! Seven days seems so long." I smiled at his sigh and his eyes searched for mine.

" I will be going back along with them the next day. So I will meet you at our engagement in February." I teased him and suddenly his eyes widened. He held my wrist and pulled me to him which made me collide with his chest . I looked up at him to find him frowning.
