Rudra's pov....

" I miss Didu... My sister." Shridha said while leaning her head against the headrest of the seat and I looked at her. It has been a week since her sister and brother -in- law left for London. Sharad is a family guy and I got to know about it when I got a chance to talk with him when the function was over. He discovered that there were few complications with Vidhi's pregnancy hence he took her to London for better treatment and also the gynecologist herself is a great friend of his.

It was our Roka today, it is a ceremony where the final date of wedding is determined and also exchange of gifts between both the families takes place. After the ceremony, dad said that Shridha is officially our family member now so she deserves to have a tour of our house hence when everyone returned back home, I stayed over waiting for my fiance to get changed and finally taking her to my house.

" How weird.. I am preparing for my own wedding and the ceremonies." She said with a light smile on her face and I smiled along with her. As Vidhi is around, Shridha has to do a lot of things as she cannot let her parents overwork.

Today I also saw the way she took care of her dad as he had fatigue and was stressed. It was normal to get tired when you hold two to three functions within a week. Shridha was running around before the ceremony took place and even after the function, she was again running around serving vitamins to her father. At that moment of time, I wanted to get ill so that I could receive her care and treatments.

" I am so tired, Rudee." She whispered while closing her eyes and I kept my hand on her thigh, gently rubbing it.

" It's alright if you are tired. We can have the tour some other day. Let me drop you back. " I said and she opened her eyes slowly and turned her head to look at me and then pressed her lips into a thin line and smiled.

" It's okay. However I also want to visit your house and have a look at it. I have heard a lot about the Mansion." She said and I ran my hand over her hair and made her lean back.

" Have a nap until we reach my house. It will take thirty minutes." I said and she nodded her head before turning towards the window and closing her eyes. It was drizzling outside and that made me sigh.

Why was it raining in the first week of February but then I remembered what Shridha told me this morning.

" My mother said that this rain will take away winter as it's a sign that spring is approaching."

I smiled while looking at her and then on the road.

During the ceremony today, it was decided that after three days we are having our engagement and a week later the wedding will take place. Nobody could be as excited as I am. It's been almost six months and I have been waiting for this date. I want to marry her as soon as possible. I also wanted to tell the pandit ji ( priest) to let me marry her on the day the engagement is scheduled but I was aware of the glare of my wife. We were sitting in the middle of fifty guests and it wouldn't be appropriate to say something like that.

As the guards saw my car approaching, they opened the entrance gate doors and I drove inside heading directly towards the garage. I parked my car and came out of it. I opened the door of the passenger seat and lifted my wife in my arms after unlocking her seat belt.

" Rudee." She whispered in her sleep and a smile made its way to my lips.

" Wake up, baby." I said and she closed her tightly before opening them and looking directly at me. She scanned the surroundings and her eyes widened.
