Rudra's pov...

" What happened?" Shridha asked while touching my arm and I averted my gaze from the girl and looked at her.
" Wifey, would you be jealous if I said that my ex-girlfriend is standing right behind you?" I whispered while lowering down to her level and was amused to read the changes in her expression. She frowned while looking at me and I nodded my head for confirmation and she turned slowly towards the girl who came a few steps closer to us.
" What a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect the most eligible bachelors and the CEO of TT to take common flights like us." She said and I forced a smile.
" Yeah, ask your dad why the private jets are being used. He will provide you with a better explanation than me." I said and I could feel Shridha shifting her gaze between me and Ruhani.
" You never leave a chance to taunt my dad, Rudransh. Not fair. Anyways who is this? Your new hook up?" The way those words rolled down her lips made me tighten my fist. I didn't realize that Shridha was holding my hand until she gently patted when she felt the muscles on my hand stiffened.
" Hello to you too. I am Shridha Saxena, Rudra's girlfriend." She forwarded her hand with a soft smile on her lips and I was quite taken aback from her words. She didn't use fiancee , rather she introduced herself as my girlfriend.
Why?
Because she is not your fiancee yet. My mind started.
" You have a lovely voice. I am Ruhani Raj Singh. I apologize for my words earlier. Punjabis need to control their mouths sometimes." She said and Shridha grinned at her.
" That's fine. You guys wanna catch up?" Shridha asked and I shook my head at her and she gave me a smirk before turning towards Ruhani.
" Oh. There is nothing left to catch up. You guys came here for vacation?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.
Vocation at the end of January, seriously?
" No, actually I study and also work here." My innocent girlfriend was busy answering the stupid questions thrown by Ruhani.
" Really? I cannot believe Rudransh came to pick you up all the way from Del..Pune to Bangalore." She was surprised and I held Shridha's wrist and she looked at me.
" I think we should get going." I said and we turned and started heading inside.
" Do you own a private jet?" Shridha said while following up with me and I smiled at her.
" Not yet. My father does."
" Ohh. "
" I remember something from the mention of my father. I had a talk with him."
" Did you?"
" Yeah, regarding the wedding so called arrangements. He said that every father would like to search for a girl who is eligible for his son so he doesn't have anything much to say as he believes that he didn't do anything wrong and he is quite amused by you. " I said and this time Shridha walked ahead with an amusing expression on her face ascending the stairs. We came inside and searched for our seats.
When we were seated, she looked at me.
" That's something new. Well he met me during a conference held in Mumbai." She said and I could see that she was happy listening to this. Thoughts are always conflicted but we need to communicate to understand them better and decode them in the right manner.
" You are a hidden face in this industry, Ridha. They don't know you and once the people will get to know about you, they will beg before you to hire you. The conference held last month didn't allow any media hence whatever happened, it was between the four walls of the room. I wanted to tell you this when you were crying about the loss that article has caused you but then again you are different from me. Your way of approaching a problem is different from mine. I should not rush to tell you that everything is going to be okay and these things are trivial in your life. Where you stand right now, it's a big problem and I won't convince you the other way around. But one suggestion I would like to give you is that this phase of your career is crucial and you need to navigate through it. Don't stop, take a moment and start learning again. " This might be the first time when I said so many things all at once and she listened to me with a smile on her face.
" Mrs. Kriplani said the same thing. She told me to take a break from everything and relax for a month and then come back all charged up. Thank you Rudra. I cannot imagine being able to handle everything without you. Your presence gives me enough strength to think that these matters are trivial." She said while assuring me about my earlier concern and I kissed her hair.
" By the way..." She said and I looked at her. " What is your ex-girlfriend doing here?" She said while eyeing someone behind me and I turned my head to see Ruhani taking the seat at the other side of aisle.
" Flying back to Delhi?" I said and Shridha glared at me.
" Mr. Stupid, What is she doing here in Bangalore all of sudden and taking the same flight as you to Delhi. Don't you think it's planned or intentionally done?" Shridha's point made sense but what amused me was her behavior. Right now she was behaving as if she didn't care about meeting my ex-girlfriend and now she seems jealous.
" I don't know, Ridha." I said and she sighed before looking towards the window and I smiled at her. I leaned towards her and kissed her cheeks which made her widen her eyes while her cheeks turned pink. She looked at me while controlling her smile and then focused her eyes back at the window.
" You are unpredictable, Mr. Kapoor." She whispered and I smiled at her.
" Maybe."
