2AM

My arm was also hurting from the blood transfusion earlier. I go back to bed, feeling helpless.

7AM, OLIVIA DIARIES

I woke up, thinking I was going to talk to Rose, however, I remembered the room I was in was much nicer. I had my diary under my pillow, I hadn't seen that thing sice Rosalynne and I started sharing rooms. I carefully lift it from under my pillow with my free hand and place it on my lap. Wow, I thought. I open the diary, making sure not to drop any contents from it. Wait a minute, the plan. It was supposed to be carried out on the 25th March, it's now the 26th.

"Wow, you're awake! How's the bandage?" The divorced nurse asks.

"Still hurting a bit, but I'm fine." I say, slowly slipping my diary under the sheets of my bed. Thankfully, I don't think she noticed.

"Well, I'll bring your breakfast. Also, since you came from a fake institution, I wanted to take you down to the asylum ward, to show you how REAL asylums work." She says and I scoff. This woman gives me the creeps, however my legs weren't broken so I agreed.

"Fair enough," I say as she walks away to get my food. She then pops her head through the door.

"By the way. I'm Nurse Cassandra. Call me Cassie for short." She says as she walks off the second time. Finally, I thought to myself. I take out the diary again and read its contents. The plan was quite simple. Take a toilet break and run out at midnight, when everyone's asleep. I'm not sure I could trust Rosalynne anymore though, since her literal father is the owner of the asylum I was forced into.

12PM OLIVIA DIARIES

"So, wanna go now?" Nurse Cassandra asks, walking into my room and invading my privacy for the billionth time. This woman wouldn't give me a second of peace. She'd been pestering me since morning, asking me stupid questions. I even saw her eyeing my diary for a second or two. I nod my head, hopefully getting something out of this trip to the asylum.

We walked up two flights of stairs and down five hallways, until we finally found the mental ward. The walk was terrible, if I say so myself.

"So, there are many different sized rooms. This one is for the ones with severe crippling depression." Nurse Cassandra says as she points at one of the rooms. What I noticed is that there was no windows on the door. Ours had windows. Every doctor or nurse would go into a room and try to help the patients there.

"We also do metal detector checks everyday, to see whether or not the patient has smuggled something in." She says.

"They never do that for us." I say, scratching my head.

"I also noticed that you all go into a cafeteria to eat. If that happened here, well, you'd see blood everywhere."

Wait, that debunks the entire 'institution' being real. I never thought about it that way. I also didn't see a cafeteria there and the food looked much nicer than what we got. It was much calmer and all the staff were nice to me.

"Anyways, I think we've seen enough. I'll take you back to your room." Nurse Cassandra says. We then walk back to my room. My arm felt a bit broken but I felt better.

4PM, OLIVIA DIARIES

"We're going to discharge you later since you're feeling better. Someone will come for you." Nurse Cassandra says as she exits my room.

I reach out to lean on my pillow but something feels weird. Panic struck my mind like a chainsaw. I sprung up and checked under my pillow. My diary. It's gone. I just know little old Cassie took it. She was playing nice but she's a devil on the inside. I should have known. This means I should be cautious around Rosalynne too.
