5PM
"Olivia, someone is here to see you." Doctor Bob says with a smile. I can see a glimmer of hope in Olivia's eyes as she walks towards the door. We were just catching up on the crazy past two weeks. I heard she was really worried about me.
5:05PM, OLIVIA DIAIRES
I went towards the little phone box the asylum had, it was protected with plastic between the paitent and the guest. Like a prison. At least they had some nice facilities like this. However, they had to clean the box for me since no one's parents bother showing up for them.
"Two minutes." One of the staff say as I head towards it.
"Hello, Olivia." A familiar voice says as I sit down and hold the phone to my ear. I look up and recognise the face immediately. The guest in front of me also smiling from ear to ear.
"Mother, you finally showed up. What took you so long?" I say, quite happy and grateful they both came. My biological mother was holding the phone so she could hear me. My biological father was stood next to her, also smiling.
"Well, we weren't allowed to see you. We wrote letters and everything." My mother says, sounding quite sad despite the smile on her face.
"I thought you were on a business trip." I say.
"No, we told Charlie to tell you that so you wouldn't get disheartened. We were actually detained somewhere. It was Jeff's doing. He wanted our lands. That-"
"Oh." My face darkens as I interrupt my mother. I could do anything to that man, he hurt my friends and family. My father then takes the phone to cool down the mood.
"So, my precious daughter. How are you doing these days?" He asks, quite sincerely. I was so lucky to have them.
"I guess alright. Don't worry, I'll be here soon." I say, trying not to cry. This was my happy moment, I wasn't going to let my tears ruin it for me.
"Well, so are we. Don't worry my princess, you know your mother and father ALWAYS have a plan." My father smirks. I knew that face. It was his I-already-planned-everything face. The nurse wasn't really listening to us so we were just saying whatever we wanted to.
"By the way, Charlie's lawyers interviewed us yesterday. We told them everything, honey." My mother takes the phone off my father and whispers as I smile. My biological parents were so caring and loving.
"We'll come to get you soon." My mother says, almost tearing up. Our moment is ruined by the ticking time.
"Olivia, times up." The nurse says. I say my last goodbyes to my parents and we walk in the opposite directions. I just knew they were smiling from behind. The moment lasted such a short while. I wish it was longer.
5:30PM
"Wow, that was fast." I say as I see Olivia walk through the doors.
"Yeah because they gave me a measly two minutes." Olivia says, plonking herself on the bed.
"Who was it..?" I wanted to know. I couldn't help it.
"Hmm.. I don't trust the daughter of the man who ruined my life that much yet so I'm not telling you. What I can tell you is that they have a plan." She simply states, smiling while those words hit me like a trainwreck. I guess she was keeping her enemies closer. I was one of them. Or maybe I was overthinking this and she just wasn't ready yet. Either way, I didn't care. My brain signals me to frown, and I do so. Olivia just laughs it off and I pretend to not get affected by it.
"Anyways, lawyers are coming next week like you said and we're taking a 'toilet break' on Sunday. Nurse Charlie will come to get us in our getaway car." She says, quite happy that this was going so well. Of course an imposter just had to knock on the door at this cruicial time.
