"I'll think of something to get rid of her once and for all for even stepping into our lives." I say, quite dumbfounded that she lied about everything.

"The brainwashed are being put into a separate room, you know. Takes a few hours for the medicine to kick in." Doctor Bob says out of the blue, staring into space. I wanted to see how they acted so badly, just so I could mess around with them.

"Do you think they'll let us see?" I ask out of curiosity.

"One person from them will come to the cafeteria next week. You can see then."

"Why next week?" I ask, quite confused.

"I don't know, ask Inventor." Doctor Bob says, still blank. I could tell he was tired.

"You know, you should get some sleep. I'm going to bed too." I lied about the last part, but Doctor Bob falls for it and smiles.

"Sleep well." He says as he walks out of the room. I do the exact opposite and start flipping the pages through my diary.

TIME SKIP TO 1 WEEK LATER, 10AM

I woke up in the same place I always did for the past two weeks, the warm aroma surrounded me and Nurse Charlie was sat at my bedside. Apparently the doctors were the most concerned for me, since I had 'severe stress levels' and could have died the day my breathing stopped, which is why they were really nice over the course of the two weeks. However, I still couldn't shake off the feeling that my parents had been after me this whole time. Last Thursday, Nurse Charlie and I worked on the court case a little more since the lawyers came and I was feeling a bit better.

"You're awake! I got us breakfast." Nurse Charlie beams at me as she hands me a tray that had warm tea with cookies. She knew I didn't really like eating much for breakfast so she gave me different things everyday to satisfy my taste buds. I never wanted to leave this place, it was way calmer than the asylum.

"So, while you were asleep, one of the nurses came and said you were free to go since you've fully recovered." Nurse Charlie begins to say whilst taking a bite out of her croissant. I frown, knowing what will come once I enter.

"Don't be sad, remember I'm working on something to end them once and for all." She says, caressing my cheek. "Take these and show Olivia. Also tell her they will come soon." She hands me files of what we worked on and pats my shoulder.

12PM

"All done? You feeling better, Rosalynne?" A nurse walks in and I get off the hospital bed and start to make my way.

"Yes, thank you." I say as I walk through the door. It's bittersweet leaving here, but hey, at least I'm better.

"If you ever need me, you know where to find me." Nurse Charlie says as she embraces me into a motherly hug. It was the warmest hug I'd ever gotten in a while, so I was quite hesitant to pull away. We then wait for Doctor Bob to pick me up from the hospital. Well, that was what I was expecting. Instead, I saw Nurse Evelyn.

"All better now? You look healthier." She says, giving me a sweet smile. "Doctor Bob's driving, so he told me to come instead. Go wait in the car with him and I'll talk to Charlie." She says.

12:30PM

"They've gone insane." Nurse Evelyn suddenly says, Nurse Charlie is quite taken aback.

"You noticed that now?" She asks. They both laugh in sync.

"They made me fake my death the other day." Nurse Evelyn says quite plainly but she still looked embarrassed by her acting that day.

"Really? Wow. I knew they were idiots, but I never expected them to stoop so low." Nurse Charlie states, shaking her head in disbelief.

"Anyways, it's just- look, Bob told me about the court case on our way here. I want to help you guys." Nurse Evelyn says out of the blue, which makes Nurse Charlie a bit surprised.
