My sister and I come from a kingdom named Zeros. It's way down in the south , we used to be apart of the Empire but our ancestors were rebels and wanted to take over the throne so simplifying it our kingdom got kicked out and we were all seen as enemies.
My sister and I are the Eldest children of the duke and duchess of Zeros.
But the rebel thing kind of got passed down so...
"Felix and Fiona. My beloved children. Tell us the plan to take down our enemies...just to make sure you haven't forgotten." Our father said to us at the dining table along with the rest of the family.
"How can we forget father we have been planning this for years." My sister chuckled. "We disguise ourselves as villagers in the capital and we sign up as servants in the royal palace." I started then my sister continued "I get close to the Empress and my brother becomes a knight and hopefully impresses Elijah then..at the right timing we'll murder them and take back the throne." My sister grinned.
"That's my girl."

"Hmm..what should our new names be." Fiona mumbled as we walked through the capital towards the palace. "I'll just go with Ben. It's easy." I shrugged. "Boring..my new name is now Francesca." She clapped her hands.
"Why is it so busy?" My sister looked around us. "Did you forget? Next week is that big fighting tournament that Elijah hosts." I said and she nodded her head.
After we rented horses we made our way to the royal palace. It's huge as hell.
"What business do you have here." A silver said when we made it to the gates. "I wish to become a maid here. And my brother Ben what's to train to become a knight." My sister smiled.
"Follow me." He sighed and we followed him across the bridge then to the doors of the palace where it was opened for us. "Nina!" The knight yelled and a maid turned around and walked towards us.
"She's in charge of hiring." The knight said then left us after we thanked him. "What can I help you with." She smiled. "My name is Fi- Francesca and I hope to become a servant here." She said.
"I'm Ben and want to become a knight." I muttered. "I see..well come with me to my office." She said and as we followed her I really admired the place , it was beautiful.
"So starting with you Francesca why do you want to become a maid here?" Nina asked after we sat down.
After the long boring and fake conversations we actually got in , it was too damn easy. "You two will be staying in the same room because we are a bit short." Nina said opening a door.
"You will also be sharing with two knights and one maid." She said then left. "We have to share with strangers." I said under my breath. "Oh well at least we got in." My sister chuckled as we walked into the room.
There was five beds so at least we don't have to share that but no one was there at the moment.
"What did she say in the end again." I asked Fiona. "Settle in tonight and we start tomorrow and she also said for me to follow the maid and for you the knights." She responded sitting on an empty bed.
After we unpacked our things into very small draws we sat on our beds and yawned. Suddenly the door walked and in came a girl around sixteen. "Oh? I wasn't aware we had new ones." She chuckled sitting on a bed next to mine.
"I'm Ben and this is my sister Francesca." I said and my sister sat next to her. "I have to follow you tomorrow so I was wondering if you could give me a few tips about our job?" My sister asked.
"First of all my name is Kiana and..Well it's really just the basics. We just do whatever needs to be done like gardening, attending the higher ups needs, cleaning rooms and sometimes greeting guests." She shrugged.
"Do you attend the Empresses needs?" Fiona asked. "I wish. My whole time being her I've seen her once." She said. "What's she like?" She asked again. "Oh she's absolutely beautiful. Very kind as well." Kiana nodded her head as she talked.
"What's hers and the Emperors relationship like?" I asked , interrupting their conversation. "From what I've heard his Highness is different with her and he changed a little for her but I don't know. From the looks of it he would still kill her if she did something." Kiana sighed.
"Oh yes Francessca your uniform is under your bed." She said.
- The next day 6:00 pm -
"How was your first day?" Fiona asked me as the two men and I walked into the room. "Tiring." I sighed. "Francesca your brother is amazing." Gerald chuckled patting my back.
I became friends with the two of them pretty quick. All I did today was just train and I didn't see the Emperor once.
"He's a natural." Tyler said putting his sword down. "Why don't we all go for drinks tonight? To celebrate our new friends." Gerald grinned.
"I could use a drink." I nodded. "Where though?" My sister asked standing up. "There's a bar on the second floor. The knights go there like every night." Tyler said.
"Nice let's go." Kiana said and the five of us walked through the hallway talking about random things.
"What the hell." I said watching a baby wolf run past us. "That's Ace. Her Maje-" Gerald cut him self off. "Shit it's the Empress." He said forcing me out of my thoughts. We all looked ahead of us and there she was. She is by far the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
She was accompanied by a golden knight as she walked towards us. "Bow you idiot." Tyler whispered so I quickly did but when I brought my head back up she was looking at me.
"Sorry to bother but have any of you all seen Ace?" Anastasia said playing with her dress. "Oh I- it went that way." I pointed. "Thank you." She smiled picking up her dress then rushing away.
"You just talked to an Angel you lucky bastard." Tyler chucked. "Angel?" My eyebrow went up. "Everyone in the palace calls hers that. She treats us all very nicely. " Gerald said as we continued walking.
I looked at my sister and she was already looking at me.
