After fighting for fucking far too long we were now on our way back to the capital.
It will take us a week. But we defeated them all faster than we thought so we will get back two weeks early.
"Excited to see that gorgeous wife of yours?" Philip chuckled as he sat in the bath house with me. For the night the Golden knights and I are at King Patricks palace since it was on the way. Quite convenient.
"Why do you ask?" I arched my eyebrow. "Well I heard she stopped you from killing a man at the crown Princes ball a few weeks ago..wait what even were you doing there that's not your thing." He said in curiosity.
"I don't know." I sipped some of my wine. "Well don't let her get to your head. You know we will all he doomed if you suddenly become all soft." He chuckled. "That will never happen." I scoffed.
"I would kill her if I wanted to but she hasn't really done anything and she's a pretty site to look at." I said truthfully then suddenly one of my knights walked in.
"Yes." I sighed. "A message from the messenger who came to talk about her Majesty Anastasia." He bowed. "You had a spy for her? God Elijah." Philip laughed.
"It was only to see if she got up to mischief." I glared then I looked at my knight. "If it's not important leave." I gritted out. "I think you're going to want to hear this." He said.
"..continue." I said. "About a week ago her and the commanders along with a group of other men went into the woods to hunt the beast-" "SHE WENT IN THERE TOO?!" I shouted in shock.
"..yes." He said quietly. "I left her with fucking imbeciles." I groaned. "According to commander Reve she was attacked out of no where by the wolf and was dragged away..they couldn't find her for ages." He took a breath and I eagerly waited for him to continue.
"When they went back to the palace she was getting treated in her bedroom but she wasn't alone....she was accompanied by the ripper and it's cub." He said. "What." My eyes widened.
"Well well well. She just got a lot more interesting." Philip hummed. "She's now taking care of the cub and she realised when she is with the ripper. It doesn't attack anyone or anything. In my opinion your Majesty it's amazing." He bowed.
I'm shocked. I didn't really know what to say.
"She also went for tea with Princess Annabelle but it's not that important." He said. "Leave." I said and he walked away. "I want to meet her." Philip chuckled. "She's a fucking idiot who does that." I sighed.
"She's brave I'll give her that but taming that beast is amazing I wonder how she did it? Is she strong?" He asked and I immediately shook my head making him laugh. "She must have intimated the beast were her braveness then." Philip nodded his head confidently.
"I doubt it." I yawned. "Well we will back soon so you can ask her then."

The villagers made way for us as we made our way through the capital on our horses. They all bowed and some clapped.
"Your Majesty welcome back." Commander peter said as I stepped into the palace. He gasped when I grabbed his colar. "You let my fucking wife go into the woods where a beast lives?" I angrily said.
"I tried stopping her I swear but she was very eager." His eyes wide with fear. "If she was eager to jump off a damn cliff would yo-" "Your Majesty your back early." Her angelic voice cut me off and I let go of Peter as he sighed in relief.
Anastasias beauty never fails to enlighten me. "Yes." I walked up to her. She looked up at me as I towered over her. Her neck must hurt , she is not even up to my chest.
"So you brought a beast into my palace." I said and she laughed nervously. "How did you know." She scratched her head. "How did you do it." I grabbed her chin.
"It's a long story. Let's talk about it after our baths." She smiled. "..okay." I responded,I was feeling gross and sweaty anyway.
After my long bath I made my way to Anastasia bedroom. I opened the door and immediately saw a baby cub sleeping on her bed. "What the hell." I said out loud.
"Oh your highness." Anastasia said and I turned my head, her maid was dressing her into a nightgown. "Get out." I said to her maid , she nodded and rushed away.
I watched in shock as a well known fully grown wolf came from behind her and nuzzled her hips. It looked at me and growled until Anastasia patted it.
"It stays in your room?" My eyebrow went up. "Mhm. And her name is Rima The little one is Ace." She smiled like it was nothing. "Just hurry up and tell me." I sat on her couch and spreaded my legs.
She sat across from me and crossed hers. "So after Rima dragged me away I thought she was going to kill me but she ended up leading me somewhere." She took a breath then continued, "Turns out Ace was Injured and so I stitched the wound together then after that they kind of followed me to the palace.." She giggled.
"I was going to take them away after feeding them because I thought it would be dangerous but I realised when they're with me they don't do harm." She smiled nuzzling Rimas cheeks.
"Why did you go into the forest in the first place." I narrowed my eyes. "Because...I had a feeling that I can't explain. I guess I was interested but I'm not sure." She shrugged but then flinched and the wolf growled when I grabbed her face.
"Never do something like that without my permission again Anastasia." I snapped. "I understand I'm sorry." She mumbled and she looked like she was about to cry.
I took a deep breath then left the bedroom slamming her door shut.
I don't know how to explain it but , for some reason seeing her sad makes me feel uneasy.
