After completely bawling my eyes out in Margarets arms I stood up and wiped my tears angrily.

I rushed to my bedroom and started packing up all my clothes and everything that I owned.

"Your Majesty! What if Agatha was lying!" Kiana exclaimed trying to stop me. "No she is not like that. And I recognised her hand writing so I know it was her." I whispered and gave my bag full of stuff to Margaret.

"Please prepare a Carriage to Annabelles Palace." I said. I don't want to go back home, not after the incident with my father and Elijah. While my maids rushed away I started writing a note to leave for my husband.

Dear Elijah

I missed you so dearly when you were away, I had trouble sleeping without your warmth but
I know what happened and I'm so disappointed. I know it is common for kings to be with other women but I thought you were different and only had eyes for me.

Please don't try to find me.
I deserve better.

Your ex wife Anastasia.

I sighed then made my way outside. I didn't see one Golden knight which was good. "Your Majesty where are you going?" Francis asked as I walked towards my carriage.

"Away." I smiled and hugged him. "His Majesty forbid you from going outside d-" I ignored him and sat inside my carriage. He stared at me in shock as I waved him off.

I closed my eyes when we started moving and I couldn't help the tears that flowed.

"What happened?" I asked Philip as I sat up from my bed rubbing my head.

"You're finally awake." He chuckled. I looked to my side and my eyes widened seeing a woman sleeping next to me. I looked under the covers and saw we were both unclothed.

"Philip." I said in shock. "No matter how much I drink I'm always conscious. Why is it I cannot remember anything." I looked at him.

He shrugged. "Did we.." I trailed off looking at the woman. "She was all over you. I saw you guys kiss as well, then you took her to your tent." He looks around. I pulled at my hair.

Then the woman woke up and grinned at me. "It worked!" She exclaimed in surprise and hugged me but I pushed her away. "What do you mean?" Philip said what I was thinking.

"There's this like witch or something in the village. She makes these drinks that makes any man be consumed by lust." She giggled. "What." Philip and I both said.

"It was going so well but then you fell asleep right when we were getting to the good bit. So I took matters in to my own hands." She slurred caressing my face. "So in other words you raped him." Philip narrowed his eyes.

"Well I wouldn't call it th-" I cut her off by wrapping my hand around her neck tightly. "Y-Your Majesty." She gasped for air. "How fucking dare you." I said with pure hatred in my eyes.

"I...thought..you wanted me..every man does." She clawed at my hand. "I only want my wife. Not a good for nothing whore like you." I shook with anger. "I'm sorry! It was misunderstanding.." She struggled to keep her eyes open.

"Well thanks for that misunderstanding, I'll deliver the heads of your whole family to your door step tomorrow." I said letting go. She coughed and then started crying. "No..please no."

"Actually. Philip tie her up. I'll kill them right in front of her eyes then I'll kill her myself." I said standing up and putting my clothes on.

I stepped out of my tent and walked up to Agatha. "Prepare me a carriage back to the Capital first thing tomorrow." I said. "But we still-", "Deal with it yourselves. I need to see Anastasia."

She looked like she was guilty of something but I shook it off.

A few days later

I smiled as I stepped onto the marble grounds of my Palace. Excited to see her I rushed up the staircase. "Your Majesty. You are early." Margaret bowed.

I ignored her and opened the door to my bedroom. But it was empty. "Angel?" I looked around in curiosity. "Angel." I said again.

She must be in the library.

Just as I was about to leave something caught my eye. It was a piece of paper sitting by my bed.
With trembling hands I picked it up and read through it. I could almost hear her soft and melodic voice. But when I read on the warmth of her voice quickly turned to ice."No." I whispered.

"NO!" I threw a glass vase at the wall, I breathed heavily and slammed my doors open. I grabbed the first knight I could see. "WHO THE HELL LET MY WIFE OUT!" I screamed in his face.

"W-we thought she was coming back your Majesty! I-" I sliced his head off before he could finish. My gaze went blurry and I held my head. "This cannot be happening...my Angel.." I said softly clutching the envelope in my hand.

I marched to the training grounds. "Peter." I said. All the knights stopped and bowed. "Y-Yes your Majesty!" He bowed. "I need you to send a letter to my troops in Loikaly. Tell them not to worry about the other hide out and to come back immediately." I narrowed my eyes.

"Yes! Your Majesty!" He bowed again then left. I slumped into a chair watching the knights train. Then my eyes widened, Her family! Of course!

I got on a horse and made my way to the Mansion belonging to her family. My thoughts clouded me on my way but I was relieved when I finally made it.

As I walked up the steps the servants gardening looked at me in shock, they bowed then rushed into the mansion, most likely to inform them of my appearance.

When the doors opened for me I stepped inside. "Tristan." I nodded my head. "Your Majesty." He bowed awkwardly. "Where's my wife." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Anastasia?..why would she be here?" He said then his mother came around.

"What's the matter? Did something happen?!" Tristan raised his voice. "Careful." I narrowed my eyes and he shut his mouth. "Anastasias not here. She hasn't been here since the day she left to get married." His mother said.

I can always tell when someone is lying.
It pained me to see they were telling the truth.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists.
"Sorry." I said quietly.

I sat in my empty bed, for some reason I was hoping my door would burst open and Anastasia would come back into my arms.

"I should never left. I'm sorry I let myself get in that position." I whispered and looked down at my hands.

Please come back.
